"I swear I'll have to give my mom an earful." Once they took care of the fashion disaster, the trio were finally able to return to the beach. Ino still complained about the situation even once their feet hit the sand. "Why do they even makes string bikinis? We might as well ban them."

"But they're so cute." Iruka countered. "Seriously, when you still had them I thought you looked amazing in them."

"Thanks, but flattery is not going to get me to change my mind." She replied as they walked close enough to see the rest of Hakuta's friends. "And maybe this might be a good time for me to leave you all alone. I'm not just here to enjoy a summer day."

"Are you sure?" He asked, hoping their time would never come to an end. "I thought the president was supposed to handle everything? You haven't been voted in yet."

"It's wrong of me to take advantage of the invite." She felt the sense of responsibility and knew she didn't want to step on anyone's toes. "Besides, I'll see you in class anyway." Her words gave him relief in knowing their lives in school had returned, no, it would end up better than before. "See you two later."

"Bye now!" Iruka gave a cheerful farewell to the girl. "Have fun doing whatever it is you're going to do."

"I guess it's time for all us to join up together again." He said as they walked to the others. After this, he was certain they would be enjoying a nice little concert by a popular idol. This reminded him of their fun time at the gaming tournament. Almost a bit of a repeat, even if the source of entertainment was more for his friends instead of himself.

"Look who finally decided to come back." Said Yuusen. "I never knew you'd be the adventurous type at a party." He said, laughing along with Itsuki.

"I wouldn't say that was my choice." Hakuta slowly turned his head to give a side eye to Iruka, who had hastily stole him away from the others just to get him to a bar. "But it was a nice detour."
"So what have you all been up to while we were gone?" Asked Iruka. "Hope you've been having fun without us."

"Oh just some normal party things." Said Itsuki. "We chatted, danced, and even used that karaoke machine over there." He pointed over at the microphones lying on one of the tables. Though to call it a karaoke machine was an overstatement. This was simply the attachment for a game that was brought that by boy earlier.

"Your friends are awful singers, by the way." Speaking of the boy, he had still be hanging around the group. Though judging from his mood, it almost seemed he did so just out of concern of what they might do rather than for his own personal joy.

"Ah, he's just being a grump." Shiuka didn't care much about the insult he sent their way. "He's just jealous because we actually have confidence and he's too scared to sing."

"I own the game!" He countered, implying he spent much time at home using it for himself. Though he knew that dealing with these younger students would only cause him to prematurely age, so he instead took solace with the one guy he was cool with. "Since you're back, you wanna play some more games?"

"That would be great." Hakuta was more than happy with a return to something else he'd much rather do. However once he sat down and they prepared themselves for some more fun. The boy got a message on his phone that he didn't like.

"Oh no, that's terrible." He said out loud as he stared at his phone.

"What's wrong?" He asked, putting down his controller in fear that this might cut their entertainment short before they even began. "I hope it's not that serious."

"It sounds like my friends got stuck in traffic." He told him, which didn't sound like a problem at all. "They're going to be pretty late."

"Well, that's a shame." Hakuta still expressed his sympathy for the situation. "I'm sure you'd much rather hang out with your own friends instead of some strangers. Too bad they'll be missing that concert then." He said, noting the sun beginning to hit to the horizon.

"Don't you remember?" He responded. "My friends are the ones responsible for bringing her. If they're stuck, then she's stuck with them."

"Oh that is a problem." The severity of the issue hit him as he thought about how many people were excited solely for the reason of getting a free performance by someone popular. He certainly was aware his own friends had basically been hanging around here just for this as well. "They're not going to be that late, right? Just a short delay?"

"They told me they weren't sure." He answered, showing the boy the texts sent to him. "They also said I need to buy some time just in case."

"Shouldn't that be the student council president's job?" He asked. Hakuta was aware he wasn't the only one of his friend group meant to take care of the important business. But he was just the treasurer, so surely his tasks on handling the money in this situation were already done.

"It's fine, I'm the one who suggested the idea if something went south." He stood up and took a deep breath. "I need to tell everyone about the delay and maybe even cancellation if it's that bad out there. If it's the latter, then I know there will be some heat from the students. So I'll take the brunt of it instead of her." Even though it wasn't his fault, and really no one's fault when it came to circumstances such as this. The boy was more than willing to harm his own reputation for the sake of his friends.

Hakuta couldn't help but be impressed as he watched the boy get on stage. When he first saw him, he thought he was just a random shy guy in a middle of a party. But in actuality, there was a good reason for why he was a member of their student council president. "Hello everyone." The boy tapped onto the microphone and spoke into it. His voice came out loud and clear through the speakers.

At first people were still being quite loud as they chatted with their friends. Though slowly he called out again, which got some to become silent. Soon the other followed suit as everyone saw him standing on stage about to announce something. "Now I know everyone here is pretty excited for the concert."

When he said this, the crowd erupted into cheers and applause, assuming he had come on to tell them it was about to begin. The motioned for them to quiet down and they so once again. "Unfortunately we have some bad news." He continued on. "It seems we'll be having a bit of a delay before she gets here."

This was unwelcome news to say the least. When he announced this to the people, the boy was met with what he had expected. Which were harsh words sent his way as people gave him a verbal piece of their mind. "I know this is disappointing, but I'm telling you all just be a little patient."

As Hakuta sat and watched on, he couldn't help but feel bad for not only the boy, but also the crowd in a sense. They were all here to enjoy a nice summer party capped off with a concert. It would be a disappointment if they had to wait and he worried on the latter concern that the boy told him about wondering if the concert might ultimately get canceled. If this occurred, then that would most definitely ruin the fun.

He knew he had to do something, but he wasn't certain on what someone like him could do to help out. That was when his eyes wandered down to the gaming console he was about to play on. There was that other game and microphone add-ons which his friends had been using earlier. Seeing this in conjunction with his knowledge of the previous plans gave him an idea.

Quickly, he rushed up onto the stage, scaring the boy already on it for a bit when he went to grab the microphone away. "What are you doing?" The boy asked.

"So while we're still waiting for her to arrive." He announced without stopping to ask if it was okay for him make such an announcement. "Please, allow us to provide a little bit of entertainment to help pass the time."

"How are we going to do that?" The boy asked in confusion. While he hadn't even understood the suggestion, the crowd took Hakuta's words rather positively. No one knew who he really was, but began to clap in excitement over the prospect of getting another free show to lead into their original hopes.

"With that over there." Hakuta pointed down to the video game console and specifically the karaoke game sat beside it.
