Jeremy leaned against Thomas' dresser watching as he tried to fix the buttons on his shirt.

"Thomas, you've been messing with your shirt for 30 minutes, it looks fine," Jeremy told him.

"I just want to look good for Nicolas." Thomas sighed. "Fuck, what if I fuck this date up?!"

"Woah, relax there, Thomas you are going to be fine," Jeremy attested. "You'll do fine with the romance tips I gave you."

"Yeah... about that... grandpa told me your "tips" will make Nicolas never want to date me again," Thomas muttered.

"What!" Jeremy yelled. "That's not true! My tips are amazing!"

You walked in laughing a bit.

"Sorry to break it to you, love, but if you didn't meet me because of you accidentally hitting a baseball my way, I probably wouldn't have talked to you." You disclosed.

"Wow, I've never been more hurt," Jeremy held his heart.

You smiled, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Don't worry, I'm glad I went against my better judgment, I love all your horrible pick-up lines." You reassured Jeremy.

"Eww, this doesn't help me at all." Thomas rolled his eyes.

"Sweetheart, you don't need dating advice from anyone, if you just be yourself, Nicolas will like you." You insisted, cupping Thomas' cheeks.

"Your ma is right," Jeremy agreed. "Oh, but if Nicolas breaks your heart, I have no problem killing him for you."

"What would Miss Pauling think of you killing her assistant?" Thomas raised an eyebrow.

"Pfff, I can take care of Fiona Pauling if I need to," Jeremy claimed.

"Sure you can, Jeremy." You laughed a bit.

"Okay, you're really teasing me too much." Jeremy crossed his arms. "I may have to teach you a lesson later."

"Aghhhh! Gross! Stop!" Thoma cringed. The doorbell rang. "Oh thank god, he's here. I'll see you later!"

Thomas grabbed his jacket and wallet before running to the front door.

"Be safe and have fun, sweetie!" You yelled out.

"I will!" Thomas yelled back before walking out the door.

Phoenix paced back and forth as you helped Mary fix her makeup.

"Daddy, why are you pacing so much?" Ruby, who was sitting on Mary's bed, asked.

"He's just worried because I'm going on a date for the first time," Mary said.

"I'm sorry, it's just my first princess is going on her first date and I feel so old knowing you're old enough to start dating!" Phoenix cried out.

You laughed a bit.

"How do you think I feel?" You said.

"Don't worry, Daddy, I don't think you look old." Ruby hugged Phoenix.

"Thanks, sweetheart." Phoenix smiled.

"And done. Take a look in the mirror." You said, putting the makeup brush down.

Mary looked into the mirror and smiled.

"It's perfect, thank you, Mom!" Mary said.

Phoenix looked at Mary, he couldn't hold his tears and he hugged Mary tightly.
