You were completely tired after a long day at work, it had to be one of the tougher days, getting yelled at by people for things that weren't your fault. You wanted to get home and go to bed. As you drove home your car started to act up, until it eventually stopped. You groaned, of course, your car wanted to break down. You grabbed your flashlight and got out of the car. You opened the hood and looked around, you weren't sure what was wrong. It didn't help that it was dark out. As you were looking around your car, a truck drove by you and it pulled over not that far in front of your car. You turned around to see a man walk up to you.
"Hey ma'am, you need any help?" The man asked, he had a soft-spoken Texan accent.
"Umm.. no I'm good." You told him, honestly a little nervous.
It was the dead of night and there were no other cars around. This man may sound sweet but who knows, he might try to do something to you.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm sure! I got this under control!" You said nervously.
The man seems to pick up on your nervous behavior.
"I'm not going hurt you." He reassured you. "Look, it's dark out and I would feel awful driving by someone who could use some help. I'm really good with cars, I'm sure I can figure out what's wrong, but if you still don't want my help I understand."
You looked at him, you honestly did need the help. You didn't want to have to walk home, that would be even more dangerous. You decided to take the risk.
"I may actually need some help, I honestly have no clue what I'm doing." You admitted.
"Oh okay, I'll go grab my tools." He said. "Oh, my name is Dell by the way."
"My name is (Y/N)."
Once Dell had grabbed his tools he went straight to work helping fix your car. You held the flashlight for him, keeping a close eye on him. You weren't going to lie, Dell was a pretty good-looking guy. After he got your car working, you gave him your number so you can take him out sometime as a thank you.
