Your Kids' First Word

Thomas - 

Thomas refused to even try to talk, which worried you and Jeremy since he was almost a year and 2 months old. Considering that Jeremy never shuts up, you thought Thomas would talk a lot too but all he did was point and make weird noises when he wanted something. So, you and Jeremy had a bet to see who can get Thomas to talk first. So, every day the two of you would try to get Thomas to say Daddy/Mommy. Today was no different as the three of you sat on the floor.

"Thomas, say Daddy."

"No, Thomas, say Mommy."

"Thomas, please say, Daddy, I'm not losing bet."

"Yes, you are Jeremy. Say, Mommy, Thomas. I carried you around for nine months,"

"Don't blackmail him! He's going to say, Daddy!"

Thomas just looked at you two confused as you two went back and forth telling him what to say. He looked away from you two and smiled when he saw Jacques walk by. 

"Spy!" Thomas yelled causing you, Jeremy, and Jacques, to freeze.

Thomas got up and ran up to Jacques, hugging his leg. Jacques laughed at both of you, knowing about your guys' bet. Jacques picked up Thomas giving him a hug. 

"Looks like you both are wrong about his first word." Jacques laughed, making Thomas laugh.

You and Jeremy were a little piss off knowing that Thomas' first word wasn't either of one of your guys' names and was Spy of all things, but you were happy that he was at least talking.

Jenny - 

Jenny could run before she could walk or talk. Jenny loved running around the place and Jeremy would always run with her, having little races. While Jenny and Jeremy were having one of their many races when Jeremy tripped over one of Thomas' toys and hit his face into the wall. Jenny stop and looked at Jeremy, she started to cry.

"Dad-dy!" She cried and ran over to Jeremy.

Jeremy didn't even have time to get excited that Jenny said her first word since he was more worried that his little girl was crying. 

"No, Jenny, it's okay. Daddy is okay." He panicked picking Jenny up. "Don't cry pumpkin, I'm okay. See, I'm perfectly fine."

Jenny stopped crying, hugging Jeremy's chest. 

"That's right, pumpkin. Everything is alright," Jeremy whispered rubbing her back. "I'm so proud that you talked. I can wait to rub this in Mommy's face that you said, Daddy."

Pyro

Mary -

When Mary got around the age to start talking, you and Phoenix were always calling each other mommy and daddy thinking Mary would catch on one day. You, Phoenix, and Mary were sitting in the living room, you and Mary were playing with her pony toys and Phoenix sat down next to you, smiling as he watched his two favorite girls. Phoenix had started to get thirsty, so he got up to go get a drink. When Mary saw Phoenix leaving, she started to panic, she was scared he wouldn't come back. She started screaming and crying.

"DADDY!" She cried.

Phoenix immediately stopped and you drop the toy in your hand in surprise. Phoenix ran back over to Mary, picking her up and giving her a hug.

"It's okay, I'm not going to disappear on you, Mary," Phoenix told her. "I love you so much, Princess."

"I told you she would love you." You said smiling at Phoenix.
