Nat's POV:

We spent the rest of the day having fun, talking about our respective work anecdote and my new found climbing talents. We ended up, the 3 of us eating pizza at my place -surprisingly-  Clint is leaving at the moment, he can't stay up too late, he's on a mission after all. Y/N and I are no better we work tomorrow too, we should probably go to sleep.

"Bye girls! It was amazing, see you soon!" He says closing the door with one hand and holding the pizza box with the other

"Your best friend is amazing. He's kind, he cares about you, he's funny, he's literally THE best best friend" She rambles on a tone that I'd almost consider as jealous. While speaking so, she curls herself into a little koala ball on my lap, still holding her glass of wine

I take it from her, she definitely had enough alcohol for tonight "What's wrong about Clint being great?" I ask sweetly

"I was drinking that!" She complains trying to grab the glass, but I throw her a glare meaning she won't have it back, so it's better if she just tell me what's going on. Doesn't even take a second for her to answer "My best friend's an asshole" She grumbles. Jim, almost forgot about that guy "He was mean to you, I hate him" Y/N reminds me

How do I tell my girlfriend, her best friend was talking shit about her? "It's okay, he probably was drunk or something" I try and reassure her even though, I don't believe what I'm saying.

"Doesn't change a thing, he's responsible of what he said" She's right. I just want her to be able to talk to someone when I'm not here. I admit that Jim isn't the best option at all, but are there any other? Maybe the guy just told me that as a test, to see if I really cared about Y/N or something?

"Have you seen him since last time?" I randomly question

"Well," She makes a pause "Less  frequently, but yes. I still go to the bar from time to time and he still works there, so inevitably..." She defends like I'm about to be mad about it

"No! It's totally fine, it's been a year now. You need to forgive him, at least I did" I explain hugging her tightly. Not entirely believing what I said, once again.

"Yeah, maybe" She answers, clearly thinking about it

There's a few seconds of silence and though I know Y/N's slowly growing tired and we should indeed get to sleep, I don't want to end the night on a bad note "Baby?" I call, her head directly looking up towards mine  "would you like to see my weapons collection?" I suggest, her eyes shining in front of me

She abruptly stands up, making me smile "Where is it?" She asks eagerly, making my smile grow even wider, Jim is long forgotten for her right now and it only makes me happier

I slowly move from the couch to my office, since most of my work isn't really behind a desk I just use the room to store my weapons.

She urges me all the way long only making me tease her some more by walking as slowly as I ever did "You're the fucking devil, Nat" She whines making me turn towards her, daring her to repeat that.

"You know we can just go to sleep without watching these metal pieces" I taunt, starting to go towards my room, almost hurting myself by insulting my weapons like that

"You're the best of all Angel, Nat" I smirk at her answer, satisfied I turn back towards my office "Best angel was still Lucifer" She mumbles to herself, once I'm back in front of her making me laugh

I then finally open the door revealing all my weapons, a section for guns and another for knives and others, my widow bits well hidden

Once she sees everything her jaw drops and she almost drools on my floor, making me chuckle.
