"Correa?" she questioned, putting a hand over her forehead to block the sun and see him better, "What's wrong?"
I turned the engine off, not planning on leaving yet as I had a funny feeling.

"Why the fuck are you talking to him again?" his words were slurring slightly, as if he was still drunk from yesterday or he had already drunk something today.
I took my seatbelt off and had my hand on the door handle, debating whether to get out or not.

I knew she didn't like drama and it most likely wouldn't end great if I were to get involved. And I needed to get in her good books, so I waited, keeping an eye out just incase.

"I can do what I want Joaquin. I'm not in the mood right now, can you annoy somebody else?" she turned to walk away, approaching the door to the communal area of the flats.

He chased after her, grabbing her shoulder harshly and turning her around to face him. I left no time to spare as I flung my car door open, cracking my knuckles as I walked up to them.

"You listen here-" he shouted so close to her face and I could tell she was holding in a laugh, she could never stay serious.

I pulled the hood of his jumper back with one finger as he stumbled backwards, being dramatic and gripping his neck as if I had just strangled him.
"I haven't even punched you yet, save the crying for later," I rolled my eyes and watched him laugh.

"You literally cheated on her, why do you all of a sudden care? She's not even all that to be honest, she's so easy to lead on. Why do you have to get involved? Who do you think you are?" he pulled a face and shoved me.
I laughed, looking away from him, and pulling my fist back in seconds, landing a punch square in his jaw, "Neymar Junior," I smirked.

Amelia watched the whole encounter but didn't get involved, letting it play out, knowing whatever she said probably wouldn't have been able to stop the inevitable: the bitch leaving holding his jaw and crying again.

She rolled her eyes but laughed, grabbing the sleeve of my jacket and pulling me towards the stairwell once we were finished. I went to walk up the stairs and she raised an eyebrow, clicking the button for the lift.

"You wanna walk up sixteen flights of stairs?" she asked me.
"Shit, I didn't know!" I laughed, jogging back over to her.

We stepped into the lift and she fixed her hair in the mirror whilst I stole glances at her. How could somebody be so perfect?

"What time's your training?" she asked, unlocking her front door and walking in as I followed cluelessly behind her.
"Training? Nah, don't have it today," I lied and she turned to look at me.
"I'm not stupid Junior," she covered her smile as she laughed. I wish she didn't do that, her smile was what got me through my darkest of days.

"I was going to go early to get some time in by myself but it doesn't actually start until twelve," I replied truthfully as we sat on her sofas.
"Oh, do you wanna go then?" her smile faded but I could tell she was trying to be nonchalant about it.
I laughed, "No, I came up here didn't I?"
She let out a breath, laughing, "I was gonna say!"

We spent the next hour just talking and catching up. It didn't feel awkward anymore, but it still wasn't like it used to be. I wondered if it ever would be but quickly shook the thought from my mind, trying to stay positive.

It reached half eleven and I got ready to say my goodbyes. I grabbed my jacket that I had taken off earlier along with my shoes and put them back on.

"Will I be seeing you again or is this another one off thing?" I asked nervously as she hugged me by the door.
"I think you'll be seeing me again," she laughed and I let out a sigh of relief before smirking.
"Ugh, I hate my life."
"Wow!" she laughed, pushing my shoulder to get me out the door.

I laughed too, ready to walk to the elevator but racking my brains for excuses to stay and talk to her.
"Wait!" I put my foot in the door as she closed it, stopping it from shutting properly.
"Sorry!" she winced as she pulled the door open but I simply laughed in response, it didn't hurt that bad.

"Ant will be there, she still watches Messi train. You could come with me to see her if you want?"
She smiled dumbly at me, "Is this your way of getting me to watch you train again?"
"Maybe," I smirked and she rolled her eyes playfully.

"Let me find a jacket," she said, wondering back into the house.
"We don't have time linda. I've probably got one in the car, come on," I ushered her out the door and clicked the button for the lift.
"Okay, okay," she rolled her eyes at my bossiness but laughed nonetheless.

Amelia POV:
As we got out the car, he handed me his Barcelona coat that had pink stripes down the sleeve and was sponsored by Nike. He had many tracksuits and things of the club but this was by far my favourite, other than the jersey of course. (the photo at the top of chapter is the coat, click on it to make it bigger and be blessed w his beautiful face if you dare)

"Thanks," I said genuinely as we walked inside a back entrance to Camp Nou.
He smiled at me, pushing a door open and holding it for me before answering, "It's no problem."

"Amelia?" I heard a deep voice and was soon engulfed in a tight hug from Dani, "Why haven't I seen you in so long?"
I laughed, "Busy person, what can I say?"

He rolled his eyes and spoke to Neymar, "I don't know how you put up with her."
"Oi I can hear you!" I pretended as if I was going to take a step forward and watched as he flinched and ran off back into the changing rooms.

I laughed at him before turning to Neymar, "I'm gonna go toilet but I'll see you when you're on the pitch yeah?"
He nodded, hesitating before deciding on hugging me and then making his way to the rest of the boys.

I used the toilet in the away team's changing room, not wanting to risk walking in on any of the Barca boys getting ready. I stalled, not wanting to go back out there. Sure, me and Ney were getting on better now but it's a bit much, isn't it? Me going to his training session, that's an activity that a girlfriend does or, at times, a best friend. But I was neither of them anymore.

I should be setting these boundaries up again but I was too obsessed with the idea of him being in my life again that I wasn't thinking when he invited me out here.

I wondered how many girls had come here in the time we had been apart. I wondered if he had taken Bruna here and if she had made friends with team. I wondered about worse things, my mind going in spirals as I leant on the wall with my hand to stop myself falling over at my sudden dizziness. What was going on? What was wrong with me?
