"What do you mean they know you're here? How?" he pulled me into a tight hug that I didn't return. I was in a trance, just thinking about everything.

"Must've been the paparazzi or something, I don't know," I put my hand on my forehead before deciding just to walk again and not make it into a big deal, it didn't matter.

I heard him grab the bags and jog until he was stood next to me again.
"Look, there's a hotel over there. I'll pay for the rooms and we'll talk it over properly once we're not outside, okay?" The way he said okay made my stomach do a flip flop but it wasn't the time for it right now.

He stood still, awaiting my response. I nodded and he shifted the bags around, all onto one arm so that he could put another around my shoulder as we crossed the road.

The hotel had big glass sliding doors that opened automatically as we approached them and walked straight up to the front desk.

"Hiya, do you have a booking?" The clerk was a young Asian woman that greeted us with a smile. I could already tell the staff here were nicer.
"No sorry, can I pay for two rooms please? Just for one night," Neymar dropped the bags by his feet and dug around in his back pocket before pulling out his wallet.

She smiled at us apologetically, "We only have one room free tonight, everything else is booked up."
He ran a hand through his hair and let out a breath before turning to face me, "Are you okay with that?"
"I honestly don't care, I just wanna sleep," I shrugged.

"There's a double bed and a single," she assured us, which made me more comfortable.
"Yeah that's fine then," I nodded to Neymar and he passed his card over to her.

A few minutes passed and she clicked a final button on her keyboard before passing us our room key and his card back, "You're in room 207. Breakfast is eight until eleven."
We said our thanks and headed over to the lift.

"Thank you," I looked over to Neymar as the elevator doors opened, letting us out onto our floor.
"It's no problem," he shrugged, leading us to the room. He unlocked it, holding the door for me and then checking the room before locking it behind us.

I flopped onto the single bed, "Why are you always so paranoid in hotel rooms?"
"Because what if something happens?" he was now checking behind the shower curtain, making me roll my eyes.

"If you're scared just admit it, I can protect you," I teased as he turned to look at me, completely deadpan.
"You're not funny. I don't check when I'm by myself," he finally gave up on looking and was now going through his bag on the floor.
"Aw so you do it to protect me, how sweet!"
"I genuinely dislike you sometimes linda and this is one of them times."
"Shut up, you love me."
"Mhm."

The next five minutes were spent in a comfortable silence as I stayed staring at the ceiling and he carried on searching through his bag.

"You can sleep in the double you know?" he said from his spot on the floor.
"No it's fine. You paid and I don't mind," I said, finally sitting up.
"Yeah but I'm a gentlemannn," he said, making me raise a brow, "What?"
"Who's been lying to you?"
"Wow."
I burst out laughing, "Joking, joking. I'm gonna get changed, I'm knackered."

He nodded in response as I grabbed a t-shirt and toiletries from my bag before making my way into the bathroom. I left the door slightly open as I unpacked my toiletries, putting skin care on the left of the sink and my makeup on the right.

Neymar POV
She left the door open a bit, letting me watch her in awe as she took off her makeup but somehow looked even more beautiful than before. She untied her hair from the messy bun it had been in since the plane and let it fall around her face in its natural waves. She hadn't even brushed it yet but still looked perfect.
