Eddie's First Day Back!?

Y/n's POV

*You opened your eyes, slowly adjusting to the bright light flooding in through the window. You rubbed your eyes and groaned slightly. You then realized Eddie was laying beside you, peacefully asleep, soft snores escaping his lips. You felt your cheeks flush as you grinned. You kissed his forehead gently, careful not to wake him, and slowly crawled out of bed. Eddie groaned and tossed to his other side, making you stop in your tracks*
Y/n: Fuck, fuck. * You muttered*
*You slowly made your way to your closet and rummaged through the clothes until you came up with a decent looking outfit*

*You finished and turned to walk into the bathroom but was interrupted*
Eddie: You look gorgeous, darling. * He said his voice raspy *
Y/n: Thank you, start getting ready for school.
Eddie: Oh shit, school.
Y/n: Yeah, school..
*You frowned slightly and made your way into the bathroom. You did your morning routine, skin care, makeup, basic hygiene, etc. You came out forty minutes or so later to see Eddie sitting on your bed, ready and all, reading a book*
Y/n: Where did you find that old thing?
Eddie: Under the bed, why keep a journal full of entries that aren't from you?
*Your eyes widened in shock, that wasn't a book. That was your dad's old journal. You rushed toward Eddie and harshly grabbed the journal from his hands. You flipped through a few pages, feeling tears at the bridge of your eyes*
Y/n: This was my dad's. Before he decided to run off and become a shit father, he was actually a good dad. He would um. He would write about his days, my days, Steve's days, and he decided to give it to me before he left. I guess I was so mad at him then that I hid it.
*Eddie frowned slightly at your saddened expression and swiftly pulled you onto his lap. You gasped and eventually let out a giggle as you relaxed into his embrace*
Eddie: Don't be sad, I hate it when your sad.
Y/n: Sorry, guess it just brought back unwanted memories.
*Eddie sighed and made his way to your neck. He kissed it softly and then relaxed, letting his head rest on your shoulder*

Y/n: Eddie, we have to go.
Eddie: No~
Y/n: Were gonna be late, now come on.
* You forced yourself up and soon Eddie followed. You walked downstairs with Eddie on your trail, the smell of toast in the air. You walked into the kitchen to see Steve spreading butter onto three pieces of toast, one for him, one for you, and one for Eddie*
Steve: Hurry up and eat, your gonna be late for school.
Y/n: Sorry, sorry.
* Steve handed you two pieces of toast. You handed Eddie one as you stuffed the other into your mouth*
Eddie: I'll drive her.
Steve: Okay, parked out front?
Eddie: Yep.
Steve: Alright, be safe.
Y/n: Always.
Steve: Bye Y/n.
Y/n: Bye shit for brains!
* You rushed out the door as you heard Steve chuckle, making you grin. You walked to Eddie's car and pulled on the door handle to the passenger side, it being locked*
Y/n: Eddie! Unlock the door please!
Eddie: Slow down princess, we got time.
Y/n: We have like what, ten minutes? Let's go!
Eddie: Alright, alright.
* Eddie rushed to unlock the car and them unlock all the doors. You quickly made your way inside the car, taking off your backpack and placing it next to your feet*
Y/n: Let's go, come on.
Eddie: I'm going.
* Eddie turned on the car and backed out of the drive way, starting the drive to school*

( At School )

* Once you were inside you could see how anxious Eddie seemed. You took his hand in yours, giving it a reassuring squeeze. Making his lips curve into a grin. As you walked through the halls with Eddie, people stopped and stared at him. He was clearly uncomfortable, but he knew this was bound to happen sooner or later. People gave you and Eddie weird looks and turned to their friends to whisper. You felt anxious yourself, walking through the halls of the building with all eyes on you felt horrible, it felt as if you were an animal stuck in a cage. Being poked and yelled at. Luckily you made it to first period. Since classes changed, Eddie had first period with you. You and Eddie walking into the class, everyone stopped talking and looked at the pair of you. Even the teacher had a look of surprise on her face*
Y/n: Don't mind the stares, we are all surprised. * You whispered to Eddie*
* Eddie sighed and led you to the back of the class and into your seats. The teacher cleared her throat and said*
Teacher: Eddie Munson, it's nice to have you back.
* Eddie grinned forcefully until all eyes were off him. The teacher went on to explain math stuff. You hated math, it was your least favorite subject. You rested your head on your arms and stared at the desk, occasionally meeting Eddie's gaze a few times*

( After Class )

* Once class was over Eddie rushed to your side, taking your hand in his. You felt his hand shaking so you squeezed it and turned to face him*
Y/n: You okay?
Eddie: Hmm, just a little nervous, you know?
Y/n: Yeah, trust me, I know.

( After School )

Y/n: So, how was it?
Eddie: Fucking terrible. Mr Wilson still got on my ass about missing assignments.
Y/n: But you were literally presumed dead?
Eddie: I know, he's wrong in the head.
Y/n: Now I've known that for a while.
* Eddie chuckled at your words. His smile sending butterflies to your stomach*
Y/n: Oh yeah, Eddie.
Eddie: Yep?
Y/n: Are we having that date today, or~
Eddie: Oh no we are. It's just happening at night time.
Y/n: Oh, alright. What is it?
Eddie: Can't tell you, dating rules.
Y/n: That's stupid!
Eddie: I don't made the rules, god does.
Y/n: Does he even exist? * You said getting into Eddie's car*
Eddie: Dunno.
Y/n: Hmm, it's deemed a mystery~
Eddie: How mysterious.
* Eddie climbed into the drivers side of the car and started it*
Y/n: Where are we going?
Eddie: My place.
Y/n: What about Steve?
Eddie: He'll be fine, plus I haven't seen you in weeks. Let's live a little, yeah?
Y/n: Alright.

Y/n: It's weird Dustin or Mike weren't here today.
Eddie: Hmm, maybe we'll catch 'em tomorrow?
Y/n: Hopefully.

( At Eddie's Place )

* As you walked inside you saw someone unexpected*
Eddie: Uncle?
Wayne: Eddie?
* Wayne stood up from the coach and stumbled over to Eddie*
Wayne: I got a call from the school, saying you were there. I can't believe it, your alive!
* Wayne pulled Eddie into a hug, making you smile. Eddie stumbled back but slowly hugged Wayne back*
Eddie: Yeah, I'm not so dead after all.
Wayne: W-What happened. What happened to you. Where were you?

A/n: Ima leave you all on a cliffhanger, also NEXT CHAPTER WILL MOST LIKELY BE THE LAST. I apologize in advance for ending this story so suddenly.
