I had a dream last night. It was about my dad. Everything just went blank when he died.

I could still faintly remember his cheerful voice. He knew I wasn't a social butterfly, but he did make the effort to get me to experience the outside world.

When he died, I closed myself off. I didn't really know until now why he died. The outside world was too scary for me. And now I'm wondering whether or not it's still a fine place...

I'll still miss you, Dad.

...

That's when I opened my eyes. And I heard that chime.

*DING DONG BING BONG*

I didn't really pay much attention to it. Just washed my face, brushed my teeth, put on some fresh clothes, dumped my dirty ones in the laundry, and then wandered down to the lunch room, thinking about what to have for breakfast. I wasn't feeling up to the mood of making some toast, so I just quickly got some cereal - without milk, I don't really like soggy cereal - and ate a bowl of it. Also, I overheard the chatter of the others.

Sumire: Hey? I swear there were still a few biscuits last night. Any idea who ate them?

Shun: Probably someone wanting a midnight snack. Like Goh. Where is he, anyway?

Momiji: Off with Kenji, checking to see if a new sector's open or not. I trust them both.

Ringo: Um, Shun?

Shun: Yeah?

Ringo: How are you feeling today?

Shun: Still pissed off.

Ringo: I can understand why.

Daisuke: ...

Shion: ...Are you losing hope?

Daisuke: I really don't want to, but...

Momiji: Hmph. I already lost my hope on the day my sister died...

Shun: Yeah yeah, I know about Kaede, and to be honest... I don't have anything else to say.

Noriko: Really, freak?

Sumire: I bet it's them.

Yep, it was them. Kenji and Goh running towards us.

Momiji: Another sector's open?

Kenji: True. The west sector is open.

Momiji: Going clockwise, as I expected.

Goh: It's open, guys! What are you waiting for?

Momiji: Well, there's the three problem children to manage.

She pointed towards Noriko. Then Shun. And lastly, Shion.

Daisuke: Wait a sec. Noriko and Shun, I can understand. But why Shion?!

Momiji: I have a hunch she's not who she's appearing to be.

Shion: ...You still don't trust me? (sniff) Exactly as I thought. With all the blood on my hands-

Noriko: Oh look, another blatant murderess in our midst! At least I have no shame, you bitch!
