———

Liam took a deep breath as he walked onto the stage, feeling the adrenaline pumping through his veins. He and his bandmates had been working towards this moment for months, rehearsing day in and day out to ensure that their sixth major concert was a success. As he stepped up to the microphone, Liam felt a familiar sense of excitement and fear mingling within him, the kind of feeling that always came when he was about to perform for a crowd.

But as he looked out at the audience before him, Liam felt a sudden shock. There, standing towards the front of the crowd, were two familiar faces and one who he assumes to be a friend they brought: MK, Lizzie, and their friend. He hadn't seen the two of them since college, and the sight of them took him by surprise. He was both thrilled and scared to see them again after so many years.

MK was still as beautiful as ever, her long hair cascading down her shoulders, her eyes shining brightly as she gazed up at him. Liam couldn't help but smile at the sight of her, the memories of their time together flooding back to him. She was his childhood best friend, the girl who had always been there for him when he needed her most. He had missed her terribly over the past few years, ever since they had gone their separate ways after graduation.

Lizzie was just as he remembered her, full of energy and excitement as she cheered him on from the crowd. She looked like they were having so much fun, dancing and singing along to the music. Liam couldn't help but feel a sudden pang of nostalgia as he watched them, remembering the simpler times when life had seemed so much easier.

He couldn't believe that they were here, at his concert. It was the last thing he had expected, and he felt both overwhelmed and grateful at the same time.

As he launched into his first song, Liam couldn't help but feel as if he was performing just for them.

He poured his heart and soul into his music, his fingers flying over the fretboard of his guitar, his voice soaring to the heavens.

The crowd roared in appreciation, and Liam felt a heady rush of adrenaline as he played.

When the first set ended and the lights dimmed, Liam headed backstage, feeling dazed and excited all at once. He knew that he had done well, that his music had reached the audience in a way that he had never felt before. But he was also feeling nervous about seeing MK again after all this time.

As he walked towards the dressing room, he heard a voice calling his name. He looked up to see MK standing before him, her eyes shining with excitement. "Liam! Oh my god, you were amazing!"

Liam felt a sudden jolt of electricity as he looked at her, her beauty still as captivating as ever. He couldn't believe how long it had been since they had seen each other, and he felt a sudden urge to catch up with her.

"Hey, MK," he said, his voice a little breathless. "I can't believe you're here. It's so good to see you!"

They hugged each other tightly, the years between them melting away as they held each other. Liam felt his heart rate quicken at the contact, feeling a sudden rush of emotion.

"How have you been?" he asked, feeling a little awkward.

"I've been good," she said, grinning up at him. "I've missed you, Liam. We all have."

Liam felt a sudden pang of guilt, remembering how he had drifted away from his friends after he went away to college. He had been so focused on his music that he had forgotten about the people who had always been there for him.

"I've missed you too," he said honestly. "I'm sorry I haven't kept in touch more."

MK smiled understandingly. "It's okay, Liam. We know how important your music is to you. We're just glad to see you again."
