Liam sat at the small table, fiddling with the straw in his iced tea as he waited for his friend MK to arrive. He couldn't help but feel worried about Scarlett, who had been acting weird ever since she returned from attending Saturday Night Live in New York.

He had tried to ask her about it, but she brushed it off, saying it was just the stress of traveling. But Liam knew her well enough to know that something was bothering her, and he couldn't just ignore it.

Finally, MK arrived, grinning as she sat down across from Liam. "Hey, Liam! What's on your mind?" she asked.

Liam took a deep breath, steeling himself to talk about Scarlett. "Have you talked to Scarlett lately?"

MK's smile faltered a bit. "Not since she got back from SNL. Why, what's going on?"

Liam shifted uneasily in his seat. "She's been acting really off lately, and I don't know what to do. I've tried talking to her about it, but she won't say anything."

MK nodded thoughtfully, taking a sip of her drink. "Well, maybe she just needs some space."

Liam took a sip from his drink, "Aren't we way past that?."

"Well, you can't always assume."

"Hm. Alright then." Liam exhaled.

Over the course of their lunch, they talked about their band's upcoming concert and caught up on other friend's gossip, but Liam couldn't shake off the troublesome thoughts regarding Scarlett.

As Liam walked back home, he received a text from MK, telling him to meet up at the park later that evening. Liam agreed, feeling grateful for the support his friend was giving him.

Liam stepped out of the taxi and took a deep breath of fresh air. The park was always a haven for him, a place he came to seek solace whenever things got too overwhelming. And boy, did things get overwhelming a lot these days.

He strolled towards a bench by the pond and sat down, watching as the sun began to set on the horizon. He was lost in thought when suddenly he heard someone clear their throat behind him.

Startled, Liam turned around to see MK standing behind him with a smirk on her face. "I thought you'd never show up," she joked, sitting down next to him on the bench.

Liam smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, I got a little lost on the way here."

MK rolled her eyes, a playful glint in them. "Typical Liam," she said, nudging him in the ribs.

They fell into an easy conversation, catching up on old times and discussing their current lives. Liam couldn't help but feel a sense of calm and comfort around MK - they had known each other for so long, and she always had a way of making him feel at ease.

As they chatted, the sky grew darker and the stars began to twinkle above them. Liam took a deep breath and sighed contentedly. It was moments like these that made all the chaos of life worth it.

Eventually, they both stood up, dusting off their clothes. "Thanks for coming, MK," Liam said, smiling at her.

"No problem," she replied, giving him a hug. "We should do this again sometime."
