Liam arrived at the restaurant and spotted Lizzie sitting at a table near the window. He couldn't help but notice how beautiful she looked in her flowery dress and her hair tied up in a bun. He walked over to her, and she stood up to hug him.

"Hey Liam, you look good." Lizzie said as they sat down.

"You look amazing, Lizzie." Liam replied, his heart racing a little faster than it should have.

The waiter arrived, and they ordered their food. Then Lizzie brought up the topic of Scarlett.

"Scarlett is leaving for New York tomorrow." Lizzie said in a sad tone, "I'll miss her so much."

Liam couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy in his chest.

"How long will she be gone?" Liam asked, trying to hide his emotions.

"She'll be there for at week or so." Lizzie replied, "She was invited by a comedian, Colin Jost if i could remember. In short, she's attending SNL."

Liam nodded, pretending like it didn't bother him.

"I hope she does well," Liam said, trying to sound like he was happy for Scarlett.

"Me too," Lizzie nodded, taking a bite of her sandwich.

Then Lizzie brought up another topic that made Liam's heart sink even further.

"I hope Scarlett finds a man there," Lizzie said with a smile.

Liam couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"What do you mean?" he asked, trying to keep his composure.

"Well, you know Scarlett," Lizzie chuckled, "She's always been boy crazy. And New York is full of eligible men."

Liam didn't want to be rude to Lizzie, so he tried to take a deep breath and calm down.

"Scarlett can find whoever she wants," Liam said, taking a sip of his drink.

Lizzie looked at Liam, noticing his change in tone.

"Are you okay, Liam?" Lizzie asked, concern in her voice.

Liam sighed, realizing he couldn't hide his feelings any longer.

"I'm just a little jealous," Liam admitted, looking down at his plate.

"Jealous? Why?" Lizzie asked, genuinely confused.

"I don't know," Liam said, shrugging his shoulders, "I guess I just don't want Scarlett to forget about us here."

Lizzie smiled at Liam, knowing exactly why he was jealous.

"I'm sure Scarlett will never forget about us," Lizzie said, placing her hand on top of Liam's, "And besides, you have nothing to worry about, Liam. You know how Scarlett feels about you."

Liam looked up at Lizzie, feeling relieved.

"I guess you're right," Liam said, giving Lizzie a small smile.

The rest of the lunch went smoothly, and Liam was able to forget about his jealousy. Lizzie was such a good friend, and she always knew how to make him feel better.

As they finished their meal, Liam realized how lucky he was to have Lizzie in his life.

"Thanks for lunch, Lizzie," Liam said, standing up from the table.

"Anytime, Liam," Lizzie replied, standing up as well, "Just remember, you have nothing to be jealous about."

Liam smiled, feeling grateful for Lizzie's kind words.
