I clutched tightly to the edge of the seat with one hand while my other arm was wrapped firmly around the child. The ship rattled and shook as we descended into Nevarro's atmosphere. An Alarm on the dash continuously beeped on and off no matter how many times Din turned it off.

We came through the thick clouds and the city of Nevarro came into view. From above, it almost looked like how I remembered it, though clearly some changes had been made. I inhaled shakily as my heart jolted. All I could think of was that day, how I had almost lost him.

The crest spluttered as it slowly landed on the ground below. I sighed gently as the ship came to a stop. I looked out the cockpit window at the all too familiar planet.

"Are you ready?" Din asked me gently.

"Yeah." I said quietly. I stood up and Din Held his hands out towards me. I passed the child over into his waiting arms and turned to walk down the ladder. I quickly descended the ladder and landed on the ground below with a quiet thud.

Din followed closely behind me with the child tucked under his arm. He was better at descending the ladder with him then I was. The two of us then walked across the length of the hull and came to a stop at the hatch door.

The hatch creaked loudly as it lowered towards the ground, it managed to get down halfway before it completely stopped. I signed gently as Din and I walked across the ramp that was elevated.

At the end of the ramp, I saw the familiar faces of Greef Karga and Cara Dune. I smiled gently, at least one good thing will come out of this detour.

Din bent down at the end of the ramp, preparing himself to jump. I waited behind him so he would have the space to do so.

"Looks like someone could use some repairs." Greef said

I hummed and looked behind me before I turned back to Greef. "What gave you that idea?" I said in amusement, causing Greef Karga to let out a hearty laugh.

Din grunted as he landed on the ground. The platform shook slightly as he left it and I fought to keep myself steady, I definitely didn't want to fall off the platform.

Din turned around and waited for me. I lowered myself down and sat with my legs hanging over the edge. Din stepped up and held his hand out for me to take. I fought the warm feeling that rose in my chest at the action and took his hand. I pushed myself off and landed on the ground below.

Din and I walked over to the two of them. Din outstretched his hand to Greef Karga and the man took his hand in his own. They firmly shook hands with each other. Cara offered her hand to me with a kind smile and I held out my own, shaking her hand gently before I let go.

"How's our credit around here?" Din asked Greef Karga

"I think something could be arranged. Isn't that right, Marshal?" Greef Karga said. I raised my brow slightly, Marshal? That's new.

The child cooed and Cara reached her hand out to hold the child's hand fondly. "I'm sure we can work somethin' out."

"I'll get my best people on it." Greef Karga said. He turned his head to look at two mechanics.

"Hey, fellas! Let's fix this man's ship! I want it as good as new." He called out to them. The men stood up and started getting ready to fix the crest.

"And you, come here, little one!" Greef Karga said joyfully to the child. He lifted him up out of Din's grasp. He smiled happily at the child who was cooing at him.

"Has Mando and Celeste been taking good care of you, huh? Have you two been takin' good care o' him." Greef Karga asked us, he looked quite serious. He then looked down at the child and his face broke out into a grin.
