The booming roar of the rancor echoed throughout the streets of Mos Espa. I glanced up and saw the rancor standing on top of a building. One of the biggest problems was that Boba Fett was no longer riding the animal, so no one could stop it from destroying the buildings and taking people out.

Din and I sped around the corner to the street where the rancor was. It had its large arms raised in anger as people below shot at it. The continuous blaster fire wasn't helping in the slightest. They were only antagonizing the animal.

"Your scaring it! Put your blasters down! Stop shooting!" Din yelled. My lips twitched up slightly at his words, knowing that we had the same idea about the situation.

The rancor started to climb up the pillar shaped building that towered above the roof it currently stood on. Its claws dug into the stone and caused it to crumble and fall. It had almost made it to the roof when it grabbed a stone pillar and threw it to the ground, roaring in anger. I reached out through the force and felt immense fear coming from the animal. He was terrified.

"Keep him safe." Din said as he passed Grogu into my arms

"Where are you going?" I asked him as I took Grogu gently from him.

Din didn't reply at first, he reached into his belt and pulled out the small metal ball from the razor crest. "Here. Hang on to this. It's gonna be okay." Din said to Grogu. He then looked back up at me.

"I'll be right back." He nodded.

"That doesn't answer my question..." I trailed off as he stepped forward and ignited his jetpack, taking off into the air towards the rancor. "But that does." I sighed heavily.

Din flew up and the rancor attempted to swipe at him, but he missed. Din then grabbed onto the reins of the rancor and sat down on the saddle. He pulled hard on the reins and tried his hardest to hold on. But it didn't take the rancor long to grab a hold of him and pull him off.

The rancor threw Din down and he landed heavily on a roof that was lower down. I winced as my heart jolted heavily in my chest. I quickly turned to Peli and handed her the kid. "Look after him."

"I will." Peli said as she held Grogu. I turned around and looked back up just as the rancor leapt off of the roof and fell down towards Din.

My heart dropped in my chest as the rancor smashed his fists down on Din and caused him to go crashing through the roof. I took a couple of steps forward as I examined the surrounding area, trying to think of what my first move should be.

The rancor suddenly raised Din back out of the building and held him tightly in his hand. I watched with my heart in my throat as the rancor brought Din towards his face and put his head in his mouth.

I took a run at the building and leapt up towards it, using the force to push myself up into the air. I grabbed onto the edge of the roof and pulled myself up. I quickly unhooked my saber from my belt but before I had to ignite it Din raised his arm and blasted fire into the rancor's mouth.

I paused as I waited for the rancor to react.
He stared blankly at Din for a moment before he threw Din away. I watched with wide eyes as Din crashed through the edge of a stone structure and fell heavily on the sandy ground.

The rancor turned its head and stared angrily at me, so I turned and leapt off the side of the building. The wind rushed past my ears as I used the force to slow myself down. My knees bent slightly as I landed on my feet. The rancor roared angrily from above me and leapt off the side of the building. I quickly ran as fast as I could so I could get out of the way and get to Din.

He was still laying on his back on the ground and I slid to a stop in front of him. The rancor turned to Peli, a Twi'lek man and Grogu. He roared loudly at them, the power of its lungs acting like a strong gust of wind as it pushed back Peli's hair and Grogu's ears. Reluctantly, I pulled my other saber out and ignited both of them. I have to protect him.
