CHAPTER 9

The insult from Park Jimin was too much for Rosè Jang, and not only was she upset about it, it also meant more trouble for her.

Days before, she had fled to the States to avoid him and prevent their situation from worsening.

Now, all the coincidences after her return had worked against her, and all her previous efforts were in vain.

What if Grandpa really came over to stay for a few days?

Rosè Jang couldn't help but massage the center of her forehead. She dared not think any further.

No matter what, she would need to think of a way to stay out of this like she had before.

Rosè Jang pondered for a moment, removed her quilt, and got out of bed. She hasted to a stack of scripts at her dressing table, carried them over, flipping through and reading every single script on her bed.

Rosè Jang studied them for the entire night. Finally, she discovered the perfect script.

The team was made up of a top-notch director, scriptwriter, male lead, and investment companies... Most importantly, the film shooting was planned to commence on the day after the next. However, the plan was stalled because the female lead, who was cast in the film, was involved in drug scandal news a few days before. Hence, the shoot might be forced to delay to a later date until a new female lead was found.

"Might" was a possibility, but it was definitely not set in stone, so there was a chance for her.

Moreover, the film was getting attention due to the female lead, who was addicted to drugs. If Rosè Jang had proposed to take on the script, Wang Momo, known for being good with numbers, wouldn't object to it.

As long as Rosè Jang could participate in this shooting, the initial date for the film shooting would be able to continue as planned, and she could leave Seoul for a period of time in the name of work.

As she thought of it, her eyes were covered in a film of sadness.

She had used to dream of getting close to Park Jimin when she was in love with him, but she had every chance to be close to him now, and all she could think of were ways to stay away from him.

Perhaps they weren't meant for each other, after all.

She sank into her thoughts for a moment, before she sent a few messages to Wang Momo on her phone.

Rosè Jang didn't sleep well the whole night. She was awakened by the buzzing sound of her handphone at seven o'clock.

It was a message from Wang Momo.

Just like she thought, Wang Momo agreed to her proposal.

She was always efficient in her work. At ten o'clock, Wang Momo signed the contract with the filmmaker.

Two hours later, Rosè Jang went to the Park Mansion, then left for the airport at two in the afternoon.

After her trip to the states, Rosè Jang stayed in Seoul for a day and a night, and now she was leaving South Korea again to avoid Park Jimin.

The show Rose Jang  had signed on for took her two and a half months at the Paris World Studio to complete filming.

After the crew ended their wrap party, Rosè Jang, Wang Momo, and the rest of the staff took the afternoon flight back to Seoul at three.

Rosè Jang didn't go home right after she landed. She got dinner outside before asking the driver to send her back to Park Jimin's house in the minivan.
