CHAPTER 74

Park Jimin's stared at the screen with inquiry in his eyes. Before he had figured out what was wrong, the characters in the film suddenly changed for other actors.

After a few seconds of pausing, Park Jimin turned his head to look at Rosè Jang, who was sitting beside him.

The girl had been afraid to be recognized in the cinema, so she had worn a cap that covered half of her face, revealing only the soft skin and the small, slightly curled chin.

All her attention seemed to be on the movie. She was staring at the silver screen. There were two funny lines that made all the people in the cinema burst into laughter. She laughed, too, but not quite out loud. She only slightly raised her lips, with a subtle and sweet smile on her face.

Before the laughter in the cinema stopped, Park Jimin heard the sound of Yoon Jane speaking in the movie. He turned his head and looked at her in the movie.

Coincidentally, the Yoon Jane in the movie also wore a cap and was laughing, as well.

With the same small face, the same lips and nose, the same small chin, even the laughter aroused by the lines in the movie, everything was almost exactly the same.

However, Park Jimin felt like he was looking at two different people. The one in the movie gave him a strange feeling that he couldn't describe.

Park Jimin's sights travelled back and forth between Rosè Jang and Yoon Jane in the movie for a long time. Finally, he couldn't help tilting his head and moving closer to Rosè Jang, saying in a low voice, "Why do I feel like you're somewhat strange in this movie?"

Speaking sincerely, even if Rosè Jang herself sat there and looked at the Yoon Jane in the movie, she couldn't distinguish herself from Yoon Jane.

But Park Jimin said something was strange... Does that mean that he found something?

Rosè Jang suddenly felt shock in her heart. Her hand, which she was using to grab popcorn, trembled violently as she tried to bring some to her mouth. The popcorn on her fingertips fell off and back into the bucket she held.

It's probably just Park Jimin asking me a simple question. I can't fret and stumble. As Rosè Jang convinced herself to keep calm, she pretended not to have heard Park Jimin's words, staring at the movie, raising her hand to cover her mouth, and grinning. Then she took another piece of popcorn, stuffed it into her mouth, and pretended to realize afterwards that Park Jimin was speaking to her. Turning her head, she said, "What did you say?"

Her reaction was so natural and smooth that Park Jimin didn't notice her stagnation and tension in that second. When he saw that she hadn't heard him, he went closer to her ear and slightly raised his voice to repeat the words he had just said. "I said, why do I feel that you're somewhat strange in this movie?"

Prepared for it this time, Rosè Jang's reacted more calmly. She tilted her head and looked at herself on the movie screen, then looked at Park Jimin with a puzzled expression and asked, "Really? Why didn't I notice it?"

In order to make her performance more real, Rosè Jang added a question. "How is it strange?"

"I can't tell," Park Jimin said into Rosè Jang's ear, slowly shaking his head. Then he turned his head and continued to watch the movie. After about a minute, Yoon Jane appeared again in the movie. Thinking for a while, he suddenly seemed to figure out what was wrong. He turned around and said into Rosè Jang's ear, "The eyes are a bit strange."

The most different feature was their eyes. Yoon Jane had previously had plastic surgery done on her eyes. She had opened up the inner corners of her eyes and widened her double eyelids. Rosè Jang had to put on at least two double eyelid tapes on each eye for them to look exactly like Yoon Jane's eyes.
