Part 65

We pull out of the clergy. Every tiny bump we hit shoots immediate pain through my wrist. We finally get to the ER entrance after a 25 minute drive here and a 5 minute drive, driving around the hospital to find the ER entrance. We stop and everyone immediately gets out the car except me because I can't unbuckle the seatbelt or open the door. Dew notices and come over and opens the door then gently reaches over and unbuckles my seat belt, lastly he helps me out of the car. We all walk in to the ER.
Papa-"Okay everyone sit down except Y/n let's go sign you in."
Mountain-"I'm going with you."
Dew-"Me too."
I guess papa figured it was to much of a hassle to argue with them because he just keeps walking up to the window. Aether, Swiss, and Rain go and sit down. We get to the window and I can feel my wrist throbbing.
Papa-"Hello, I need to sign her in she fell on her wrist."
Nurse-"Okay....is it broken?"
She asks in a very snarky tone.
Papa-"Um we don't know....that's why we came here."
The nurse scoffs and hands Papa a clipboard and a pen
Nurse-"she needs to fill this out."
Papa-"Is it okay if I do it she can't really write because of her wrist."
Nurse-"What's your relationship with her?"
Papa-"Uh I'm her-"
Nurse-"you need to be a close FAMILY member."
Mountain-"I'm her brother will that work?"
He asks I can tell he's getting very agitated at her snarky comments.
Nurse-"If you're a close family member yeah you can."
He reaches out and grabs the clipboard
Mountain-"Come on."
He ushers me over to the waiting area and we all sit down.
Mountain-"She was such a bitch."
Y/n-"Just leave it alone and fill this out please?"
Mountain-"Fine uhh first question..full name?"
I give him a looks that screams "are you serious?"
Mountain-"Yeah I know that one."
Y/n-"I was about to say, I've been your sister for how long?"
Mountain-"Yeah I think I've got it down by now..... okay skip all the ones I knowwww.... Age.... Gender.. okay have you had any sexu-.... Yes"
I bust out laughing, Dew who's sitting in the chair next to me leans over and hides his now very red face in my shoulder.
Mountain-"Oh uhhhh.... When was your last um you know."
I give him a confused look. I know what he's talking about but I just want to give him a hard time and I really want to see him struggle.
Mountain-"You know!....when you....bleed.."
Y/n-"Oh!"
Mountain sighs with relief
Y/n-"No my wrist isn't bleeding."
He sighs again this time out of disappointment.
Mountain-"No! Your...your.."
Dew lifts his head up just long enough to say
Dew-"Your period."
Then he put his head back down.
Mountain-"Yeah!"
Y/n-"Damn it Dew I wanted to see how long he would try to explain it."
Dew-"Oh sorry."
He mumbles into my shoulder. I turn my head and gently kiss him on the top of the head. Mountain looks at me with an agitated look.
Mountain-"Answer the damn question asswhole."
I chuckle a little
Y/n-"Last month."
Me and Mountain finish filling out the form. Then me and Papa take it up there since Papa doesn't want Mountain starting anything with the nurse.
Papa-"Here ya go."
Papa hands her the clipboard with a smile on his face. Kill 'em with kindness I guess. She practically yanks the paper out of Papas hand, then reaches down and grabs one of those little plastic bracelets.
Nurse-"What's your full name?"
Y/n-"Y/n L/N"
She quickly writes it on the plastic
Nurse-"Alright give me you wrist."
I give her my non-hurt wrist and she put the bracelet around it.
Nurse-"Go sit down and wait to be called."
We walk back over to the others. When we sit down I hear Papa whisper under his breath
Papa-"What a bitch..."
