I thought Choi went back home, what the hell is he still doing here?! Oh, how do we explain this? Jack took a slow deep breath, and anyone who knew him knows that means he's fed up.

"Jack, just drive around him." I spoke up, crossing my fingers he doesn't hurt Choi.

"Macy, I've had a long week." Jack turned to me, giving a weak smile. "I'm just about done with fucking idiots interfering."

"Just drive around him. He can't chase us, he doesn't know where we're going." I suggested. Jack scoffed, rubbing his eyes. I looked at Choi, he's still waiting for us. I opened my door, and Jack snatched my arm,

"I swear to fuck you better stay in the car." He threatened me. Damn, he's very frustrated.

"I'm just gonna talk to him. He means no harm, Jack. He protected me."

"Yeah mom paid him to protect you, he's in it for the money." Jack sighed.

Choi tilted his head, getting impatient. Fuck.

"I'm asking you, please leave him be." I tried. Choi is a good person, he hasn't done anything wrong.

"Do you want the truth or not? You want it so damn badly, well guess what," Jack leaned closer, "It's at the fucking lake house." He whispered.

"If you hurt him, I will never talk to you again." I threatened.

Jack tilted his head at me, confused.

"Kids. Come on, let's head back inside." Choi hollered, waving his hand. Jack swore, quickly opening his door. I opened mine, I can't let him hurt Choi.

I didn't see the gun Jack had. Not until he had it aimed at Choi, who raised his hands. Last time someone pointed a gun at Choi, he beat them down.

Jack didn't hesitate, the second Choi opened his mouth to speak, Jack fired the gun.

Choi and I both gaped at his bloody chest, before he dropped.

"Jack, he didn't do anything!" I shoved Jack, shoving him again, and again.

"Get in the car already." Jack let me shove him one more time before grabbing my arms.

"Fuck you." I spat at his face, earning him shoving me away now. I can't stay here. I'm not going with him.

     Fuck the whole truth.

I ran, ran back to where I think the house is. Jack screaming my name in the distance, I felt more relieved to hear it from so far away. I found it! I can see the porch light. Wait, where the hell do I go?

If I go inside, Mom and dad send me to Italy with no more contact with anyone.

Jack is a maniac, I don't feel safe around him.

Aaron treats me like his favorite toy.

No one has ever asked what I wanted.

Jack screamed my name again, getting closer. No time. Think. If Jack chases me all the way back here, he left his car back there. With my stuff and the keys.

I grabbed a rock, throwing it through the front window. Setting off alarms.

Ducking, I hid behind Rio's car, finally seeing Jack emerge from the dark, running up to the house.

    Run.

I bolted back. The cold air stung my cheeks, and my calves already ached.

It can't be far, it has to be close!

I spotted it, the lights were off, but the car is there!

Be fast. No time to spare.

I got in, he left everything the same. Must have turned the lights off before chasing me. Shifting, I stomped on the gas. Jack parked near a road. I have no idea what road it is, but it's the only one. Speeding down the road, I saw the turn to the road I recognized.

Go go go go go go go.

The back of my neck tickled, like he was right behind me.

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck, what the fuck.

He killed Choi. Why? Choi literally did nothing wrong. My burner phone vibrated, getting a call. Jack, Aaron, mom, dad, Rio, really who could it be. It's best not to answer it, don't look at it. I need to keep driving.
