Chapter Fifty-Five

Four of us stood in line at the movies, getting popcorn. I honestly wasn't sure what answer I would get, but they loved the idea of going to the movies. Silvanto and Lauren joined me and Hugo, even letting me pick the movie.

    "Shush! It's the biker gang." Someone spoke close by. I looked around, finding a mom with her son clutched by. I glared at them, letting them know I heard. Hugo grabbed my shoulder, pulling me to look away.

        "People have their opinions, don't mind them." He patted my back as he told me.

    "You guys have been the nicest people I've ever met, I don't like when they give you dirty looks." I defended myself, I hate snobby people like that.

    "Can't fight everyone." Hugo chuckled, pushing me alone.

    After the movie, I actually felt a lot better. Until Darkness loomed by me once I got in the backseat. Hugo sat in the back with me while Silvanto drove and Lauren rode in passenger.

    Darkness stayed on Hugo's side, right behind him. I quickly looked out the window on my side, can't bother me if I won't look at him.

    "Someone could be stalking you, watching your every movement. You're gonna get everyone hurt."

    Very doubtful, they seem like a strong gang.

    "Deep down, you're evil. Vile. Sick." Darkness started to yell. Not this again, I tried to cover my ears in a way Hugo wouldn't notice.

    He lit up a cigarette, blowing smoke out the window.

    "Evil. Evil. Evil. EVIL. EVIL." Both of my hands squeezed my head,

        "Shut the fuck up." I begged. Why is he so loud? I'm so sick of the noise, so much noise. I'd give to have my ear drums removed right now.

    "Macy?" Hugo noticed me, raising a brow.

    "Headache." I lied, pressing my pounding ears as hard as I could.

    "EVIL. EVIL. EVIL. EVIL. EVIL."

    "Please, go away." I pleaded, looking at it finally. Hugo watched me with a worried look, not aware Darkness tickled by his neck. A cell phone chime went off, Silvanto answering his phone.

    Focus on that, focus on that call. It could be important. Letting go of my ears, Darkness finally settled down. He hates not being acknowledged.

    Silvanto hung up, continuing driving in silence. Was it not important? Damn, got excited for nothing. I have an idea of what I want from Jack, it's Aaron I'm not sure about.

    He did kidnap me, carved into me, he's the evil one. Eventually, he'll see I will always hate him, and kill me.

    So do I kill him first? Or let my new gang do all the dirty work. My hands already have enough blood on them, maybe it's best to let them handle everything.

    We finally pulled back at the bar, and Darkness finally left. He's getting out of control, I wish he would leave me alone more often.

    "Macy, did you decide?" Silvanto asked me, everyone waiting on me in the car. It took me a moment, before I remembered Silvanto basically wants to adopt me.

    "Are you sure, it's not a bother, and I'm not dangerous to you?" I asked him, noticing Lauren gave me a sweet smile.

        "Dangerous? We're not afraid of you, Macy. Tell you what, if you don't like it, we can take you anywhere." Silvanto offered. I sighed, not used to this. I actually have decisions, I can pick where I wanna go. No one is dragging me around, it feels nice.

    "Sure, thank you for taking me in." I smiled at them. Lauren  squealed, already excited she has a daughter technically.

    I won't give up on mom and dad, this is temporary. I wanna see my family again, some time. At least Reid, it's been forever since I got to see him.

    Silvanto drove to Glen's house, so I could get my one bag and stay at his house. Glen waited to greet me, opening the front door for me,

    "Did you guys have fun?" Glen asked only me, not looking at everyone walking in behind me.

        "We did." I smiled.

    "Hugo told me you said yes to Silvantos, so we got a special surprise there. We worked on it while you went to the movies!" Glen told me, nearly jumping up and down. I took a deep breath, did they already set up a bedroom?

    Glen ran upstairs to get my bag, while Hugo waved me off, going upstairs.

    "We found Jack." Silvanto finally spoke up. I turned to him, not seeing Lauren anywhere, might be in the car.

    "Where is he?" I whispered, stepping closer to him.

        "Don't worry about it, just say when and we'll grab him." Silvanto lifted his phone. I nodded, smiling with him as he dialed.

    "Grab him. No harm done, got it?" Silvanto nodded, hanging up. Jack is on the way. I giggled quietly, he's gonna get quite a scare.

    One down, one to go. Hopefully they find Aaron soon.
