"Yay!"

Willow watched as her kids bounced up and down on their beds in their new room. "You like your new room?" she asked as she continued to arrange their things in their wardrobes. "Yes, mommy! I'm so happy we're living with daddy now!" Wave squealed as she got down from the bed and went to hug her. Willow chuckled and ruffled her hair.

"When is daddy coming home?" Daniel asked her. "He will soon be home," Willow told him and he nodded. "Mommy, can we go and play with Star?" Wave asked her. "She's downstairs. Be careful, okay?" Willow said and they nodded before running out of the room.

Willow sighed and turned her attention back to what she was doing. She was a little bit tired from unpacking most of their things. It was a driver that brought them to Nathan's house, because he away at the moment. He had sent a message telling her that he would be home at night.

When she was done arranging her kids' belongings, she stood up and let out a sigh. The room was very large, allowing them to have their spaces to themselves and Willow appreciated it. She couldn't help but hide her amazement when the driver brought her to Nathan's house. It was so huge that she was convinced she would get lost if she wasn't careful.

She walked out of the room and made her way to the room she was going to share with Nathan. Her cheeks heated at the thought of them sleeping in the same bed. "This is not the time to start being embarrassed," she scolded herself as she walked into the room.

Nathan's room was different from the twins' room. It had a dark theme, unlike the kids' room but it was also very large with a king sized bed in the middle. Her luggage was by the bedside waiting for her to unpack it.

By the time she was done with everything, it was already evening and she knew the kids would be hungry. Her phone rang as she walked down the stairs. "Yes?"

"How big is it?" Eve asked making her roll her eyes. "It's big and I think I'll get lost sooner or later," Willow told her as she got downstairs. Star spotted her and ran to her. "Hey, girl," Willow crouched to ruffle the dog's fur. It was now a big dog.

"Mommy, I'm starving," Daniel told her. "Go and take a shower and I'll make dinner," Willow said and went to the kitchen.

"I think I prefer Nathan's house to ours. There are so many varieties of drinks. I stole his cherry vodka one time," Eve told her and she laughed. "Did he make you pay for it?" she asked. "Yup. But he didn't collect it though. He's a blessed soul. Chase took away all the drinks and now I'm left with sodas!" Eve cried out.

"It seems like you've forgotten you're pregnant, young lady," Willow said and her best friend scoffed. "I can't wait to go on maternity leave. I may never go back to work ever again!" she exclaimed. "Typical Eve," Willow commented and she giggled.

"I miss daddy," Wave said as she sat at the dining table. Willow shook her head at her daughter, "Daddy's on his way." "We have school tomorrow," Daniel groaned. "I thought you liked school," Willow chuckled as she placed their food in front of them.

"Sometimes, it gets too much. I hate Mondays," he huffed and crossed his arms across his chest. "Don't worry, sweetie. It'll get better," Willow patted his head and he nodded.

She was about to take a seat when Nathan walked in.

"Daddy!" Wave exclaimed as she jumped down from her chair and went to hug the tired looking man. "Princess, how are you?" Nathan smiled as he carried her up. She hugged him and looked at his face with a frown, "What happened to you?"

He gave her a smile, "Daddy's just tired." "Are you eating dinner with us?" Daniel asked as his father went to place Wave back in her chair. Nathan shook his head, "I'm heading to bed now. Goodnight."

"Goodnight, daddy," the twins waved at him and he smiled at Willow before walking out of the dining room and heading up the stairs. "Is daddy sick?" Daniel asked his mother. She shook her head, "He's just tired."

"Mommy, give him true love's kiss to make him feel better," Wave said and her cheeks heated up. She cleared her throat and pointed at their untouched food. "Finish up and let's get you both to bed," she said and they obeyed.

After dinner, Willow took them to bed and bid them goodnight before going to her room; more like her and Nathan's room.

She quietly walked in to see him on the bed with a heating pad on his forehead. He was wearing matching plaid pajamas and she couldn't help but notice how cute he looked.

Nathan noticed her presence and sat up to see her. "Are you sure you're not hungry?" she asked as she walked in further. "I can't eat when I'm tired," he said and laid down again. She nodded and went to change in the closet.

She walked out and made her way to the bed. "Should I switch off the lights?" she asked. "Hmm," he responded and she did so before climbing the bed. She exhaled and laid on her side with her back facing him.

There was silence in the air but they weren't sure if it was the comfortable type. With a huff, Nathan removed the heating pad from his forehead and placed it on the nightstand before wrapping his arms around Willow's waist and pulling her towards him. She gasped with wide eyes.

"Can I hold you like this?" he asked her and shivers went down her spin with his breath on her neck. "I-if you w-want," she stuttered as she fisted her palms. She was so glad that everywhere was dark or he would have seen how red her face was.

"Thank you," he said and pulled her closer. Both their hearts were speeding like the cars in fast and furious but all they needed was courage. Willow inhaled sharply as she slowly turned to face him. He opened his eyes to lock his with hers.

Even in the dark, they could see each other's eyes. Willow smiled a little and raised her hand to his hair, letting her fingers massage his scalp. Nathan closed is eyes on instinct and placed his head on her chest.

"Please don't hear my heartbeat," she prayed in her head as she continued to massage his scalp. "Feels good?" she managed to ask. He hummed in response as he snuggled closer making her smile.

Then she thought...

Maybe they could work this out.
