Willow woke up the next morning to an empty bed. She let out a sigh of disappointment as she sat up and looked at the alarm clock, it was four in the morning. She frowned, "Where could he have gone to by four in the morning?" she stretched her limbs and stood up from the bed. The bedroom door opened and Nathan walked in, dripping with sweat.

Even though the lights were not on, the LED lights on the ceiling allowed her to see his glistening body. Her cheeks heated as she averted her attention from his ripped body. "I thought you'd still be asleep for another hour," Nathan said as he approached her. "Good morning," she gave him a smile. He smiled and pinched her cheek before going to the bathroom.

She let out a breath and touched her cheek. He had gotten taller and broader; how would she be able to handle that?

"I just need to wait for him to be done before I take my bath," she said and went to make the bed.

"I'm so excited man. I mean, I've been dreaming about having a kid of my own since like forever!" Chase exclaimed happily. Nathan looked at his best friend with genuine happiness. "That's why you cried when she broke the news to you?" he teased and Chase glared at him.

"Let me be. It's just overwhelming that I'm not just a husband, but a soon-to-be father," he said with a proud smile and Nathan chuckled. "Just don't mistakenly give your kid your margarita when you're chilling," he said and Chase rolled his eyes.

"How's that dream house coming up?" he asked. Nathan nodded, "Dylan said it's almost done. I think it'll be done by the summer." "I can't wait to go and hide there," Chase said. "Why?"

"Sometimes, my wife is crazy," Chase whispered as he looked around Nathan's office as if expecting Eve to pop out of nowhere and smack his head. "And you're crazy too; it's a perfect match," Nathan laughed making him scowl. "I think being pregnant does that to people," Chase stated and his friend shrugged.

"So how's life living with your baby mama?" Chase asked him. Nathan rolled his eyes at the term Chase gave Willow. "It's been two weeks since she moved in with the kids and I think my life changed somehow," he admitted. Chase grinned, "I know, bro. it's obvious."

Nathan raised a brow, "How?"

"Dude, you're basically glowing even though you're not pregnant," Chase laughed and Nathan rolled his eyes at his so called best friend. "I'm this close to calling security on you," Nathan made a pinch with his fingers and Chase brushed him off.

"How about the watches I made for the twins?" Chase asked him. "They work pretty well. Thank God, it's waterproof. I told them never to take it off," Nathan replied and Chase grinned with pride. "I was thinking of making more but I don't know if there will be a market for it," he said.

"Are you kidding me, Chase? Of course there'll be market for it. It's a smart invention, you idiot," Nathan said with a scoff and Chase laughed. "Are you going to marry Willow?" he asked and Nathan looked taken aback. "Huh?"

Chase shrugged, "Are you guys just going to keep living as a father and a mother but not husband and wife?"

"What are you getting at?" Nathan narrowed his eyes at him. "I'm just saying. Why don't you take her out on dates, treat her like a wife since you're both living together? Try rekindling old flames make the fire burn better than before," Chase said.

Nathan was quiet for a while as he processed what his friend had said. "It's not that easy, this is Willow we're talking about," he said and Chase rolled his eyes. "Isn't she the same Willow you were head over heels for? Bro, you're the one that made me to give love a try," Chase glared at him.
