Part 61 - A Lady

I went back to my room at about 2am, I fell onto my bed with a sigh. I stared at the ceiling

"Why does everything feel so fake?"
I questioned myself before closing my eyes.
"Where did that Level-E even come from..."

I tried to get some sleep before class tomorrow... or rather later.

I closed my eyes, so many memories flooding through my head. It feels like yesterday when I met Echo, now I can't contact her.

I got dressed in my extra school clothes since the ones I wore yesterday got bloody and ripped.

I walked over to class and took a seat. The lesson continued as usual until something the teacher said caught my attention.

"There's an event coming up,"
He said
"I want all of you to prepare a speech on mythical creatures. The ones who score the highest won't have to help set up."

"What kind of event is it?"
One of the girls asked.

"It's a casual party,"

"Will the nightclass be allowed?"
"I hope kaname will go,"
"I want Hanabusa,"

"It's dependent on your grades,"
He said making to class burst out in disapproval.

The school day ended, and the crossover was next. Zero and I walked together.
"I don't think this is a good idea."
I said to Zero while walking.

"I agree. We already had the ball. Why another?"
He said
"Including the blood suckers is-"

"What's happening?"
I asked, running closer to the crossover.

Zero followed behind, loud screaming was heard, louder than usual. When I went to look, I saw someone. I do not recognize this person.

"I sense a vampire-"
Zero said before I cut him off

"Quiet down, she could be dangerous. There's humans around"
I said, walking up to this person.

"Do you have permission to be on school grounds?"
I asked, making the person turn around

"Lady (Y/n), it's an honor to finally meet-"

"Answer my question."
I demanded

"Yes, I'm here on business."
She said

"Im going to have to ask you to leave."
I said
"You are a threat to our humans,"
I said the second part quietly.

"I understand."
She said
"But lord Kuran has asked for me, and his word goes higher than yours,

Zero walked up behind me, grabbing the vampire. She tried pulling away, but Zero had a firm grip.

"(Y/n)"
A voice said as the gate opened
"Let the dear lady pass."

"Kaname"
I said, taken back.
"This isn't appropriate-"

Zero let go of the lady, and she quickly made her way to Kaname, grabbing his arm.
"Classes for the nightclass are canceled. You may all return to your rooms."

I stood there shocked as the dayclass left disappointed. I looked at Zero as he shrugged.

"There's nothing we can do about it. He's a pureblood"
Zero said sarcasticly while walking away
"I'll meet you on patrol."

I agreed and entered the night class. The students hung out on the couches, but Kaname was nowhere to be seen.

"Who's that woman?"
I asked, making the vampires look at me.

"We don't know."
Takuma said

"And we don't care,"
Hanabusa stated
"Lord Kanames business doesn't concern us,"

"But it concerns me,"
I said, accending the stairs.

I opened his door, not seeing him, I sensed blood inside his bedroom, so I knew he was here.
I looked around, seeing him in the crack on another door.

"Lord Kaname"
The lady said in a weak tone.

"What's going on here?"
I asked, leaning on the doorframe.

Kaname pulled away from the lady's neck and looked at me. Her blood ran down his mouth, making him lick his lips.

"This doesn't concern you,"
He said, returning to her neck

I pulled his head away by his hair and glared into his eyes. His eyes made mine react, leaving us both looking like bloodthirsty beasts.

"This does concern me,"
I said
"We don't allow strange vampires on school grounds, much less bloodbags for you."

"Are you feeling left out, sweetie?"
The lady asked
"I have a human friend I could offer you,"

I swallowed, trying to get most of the dryness away.
"Exsplain Kaname"

"There's nothing to explain, I need blood."

"You have the entire night class, and vampires on school grounds"
I said.
"Why do you need her?"

"Are you jealous (Y/n)?"

"Why would you even assume that?"
I asked
"Whatever you're planning, do it outside of school grounds"

I walked out meeting Zero at the dayclass dormitories. I Exsplained everything to him

"Blood sucker getting picky"

"It seems that way"
I said
"But I feel like there's something deeper going on"
