Anyway, I want to discuss why I have no further plans to continue "I'M DEAD" and why the book may not return anytime soon. Back in September, I promised the book would come back in the future when I figured out the plot. How's that turning out? My heart is not in it.
I'm not interested in writing within the zombie genre. I've had ideas I thought it be cool and different in the genre but some of those ideas weren't original after catching glimpses of those ideas in a show. After I stopped on chapter 5, writing the chapter got boring. I wanted to do a slow build-up of the zombie apocalypse in that particular chapter. But from what was going on, I got bored. I took down the book because the story wasn't pulling me in once I hit the 5th chapter.
It might've been how the 4th chapter turned out which I was fine with. However, I couldn't continue writing the 5th chapter and already had an idea set in stone to put the story into action. Chapter 5 started slow, so from there, I decided to take down the book to figure out the plot. Until recently, I decided to discontinue the book. I deleted the book in my Wattpad drafts too. (Glad I have the chapters in my Notes app and Google Docs).
If I have a strong idea for the book in the future, I'll bring it back. For now, the book is discontinued until further notice.
2. Half Of Us, Superman Fanfic

I had a decent cast in mind and a plot to work with. The problem that occurred was the faceclaims for Clark Kent and Lex Luthor. Because after I changed the book from a Man Of Steel fanfic into a regular Superman (with no movie ties), that is when the book fell flat. I guess no longer a fan of Man Of Steel has affected my brainstorming process for the book. As well as not being a big Superman fan, I am mostly a fan of the romance between Superman and Lois.
Not only that, but my main OC Keke's father (Andre Braugher) sadly passed away last month (which makes it much sadder that his character in the fanfic has passed too). So, I decided to step back with the book and shelve it. But I don't think I'll return to it in the future. So the book is discontinued.
Before making that decision to discontinue the book, I thought of making a fanfic of the upcoming James Gunn's Superman with my Ocs. I liked the casting for the new movie. So, I would have to wait for the movie to come out and decide whether or not the book will be brought back.
However, I would recast Keke's dad. The "Half Of Us" storyline would be the same except the majority of the DC characters would be the characters in James Gunn's Superman movie.
Anyway, the book is discontinued and shelved until further notice.
3. Batman fanfic

I created the book cover in Summer 2023 and had a plan of doing the book. But my ideas weren't strong enough for me to write a chapter. Hence, the book is discontinued. I am not bringing it back.
4. Teen Titans fanfic

This book is discontinued due to the lack of ideas that resulted in making this decision. The fanfic was supposed to be based on animated movies and comics with original and canon storylines.
Since it's been a year since I last posted my plan for this book, I've lost interest in it and was focusing on other things. I still have a cast up on Pinterest along with the discontinued books I mentioned above.
I'm not as attached to the story anymore. So the book is discontinued.
