YOU DID THIS! (Chapter 12)

I glared at him, an irk mark on my forehead.
"I agreed to apologize and not be your plaything."
"What comes around goes around."
His voice filled with an annoying attitude.

This made me regret my decision not to escape last night. My jaw clenched, it's fine, it'll be over soon.

I take a deep breath when Teru chimes in.
"Tease him all you want after your work is done."
He points at a stack of papers on his table and Akane goes to pick it up. He skims it and then hands it to me.
"Here, make yourself useful and separate the approved from the denied ones."

I took a quick look at the paper, and it seemed to be different requests for clubs and after-school activities. AND IT WAS A BUNCH OF THEM!

I look back up at him dead in the eye.
"I'm illiterate."

With a scoff, he takes a seat at his desk and places a hand on the table.
"Hand the seperated stacks back to Teru and report back to me. Be done with it in fifteen."

"Dude, I'm a Mokke. I can literally not understand any of this!"
I argue as I point at a random word on the topmost sheet of paper but get ignored as he starts to work on whatever those books on his desk are.

I stood there a little longer in protest; they weren't going to push off their work on me the whole day.

Sharply he turns to me, pissed this time.
"Then better learn to read and be quick with it. You got fifteen minutes, or I'll have you scrubbing this room."

I blink before whispering audibly.
"Geez, talk about holding a grudge."
And walk off to the closest free seat.
It didn't take more than ten minutes before I was through with my task. I couldn't help but notice that the denied pile was triple the height of the approved one. Typical.

"Here."
I say as I place the two stacks on the blond's table. He looks up at me briefly, his expression nonchalant before going back to focus on his work.

"A thanks would have been nice."
I Spoke before I could really think about it, and with an amused huff, he put down his pen. His attention was on me.
"You sure are demanding for a maid."

"I'm not your maid."

He didn't reply with words; instead, he just gave me a top-down and then a smirk.

I knew my cheeks were pink now, and I pulled off the ridiculous bunny ears from my head and threw them on the ground.
"You sure are a douche for a council president.

I was ignored.
"Could you get me a coffee?"
Though voiced like a request we both knew it was a demand. The audacity!
"Get me one too!"
Akane adds, he probably didn't even want one, just said this to spite me.

That's it, this was enough- I wasn't going to take any of this a second longer!
"No!"

The brunette looks up at me, annoyed but smug.
"Giving up on playing good already,  should have known you truly don't change."
My hand balls into a fist
"Playing good? What do you guys humiliating me have to do with any of this!?"

This seemed to strike a nerve, he shot up from his seat, hands slamming on the desk.
"This has to do everything with that! You want to be good!? Better take responsibility."
He spat angrily, and I knew it was true, and I hated it. But my hand reacted before I could think.

I was stretched half over the desk, fist a centimeter away from the boy's face, stopped just in time. But not by me.

I grunted as the grip around my hand tightened.
"Not so nice being on the other side of things is it?"
Teru says, his face scary.
Before he released my hand and smiled again.
"Is what he wanted to say. Now behave yourself."
My jaw clenched, a shiver running down my spine; I'd never get used to his presence.
