Prologue
The assassination of the 35th US President of the United States remains a mystery. While the 50th anniversary of JFK's death on November 22, 1963, is remembered by those who grew up during the mid-1960's, I was born on August 4, 1973, at the height of The Watergate scandal that took down US President Richard "Tricky Dicky" M. Nixon, (who blamed the Kennedys for his downfall).
But, despite the heroics of The Washington Post's Bob Woodwood and Carl Bernstein in the early 1970's, we have to go back a decade to 1960, when the real story begins.
