Rosa Parks did a course called 'Race Relations" at the Highlander Folk School. It the course, she was educated in "Non-Violent Protest".

     And, as the events on the bus, was the "tip of the iceberg", Parks met with a young Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., and Edgar Daniel Nixon, (July 12, 1899 – February 25, 1987), the President of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and together, the three influential African-American political, social, and religious leaders, changed the face of America forever.
