**William Erwin Walker, aka Erwin M. Walker and Machine Gun Walker (1918 - 1982), a noted chemist, police dispatcher, and WWII veteran.

Walker's parents were Weston and Irene L. Walker. He grew up in  Glendale, California. His uncle, Herbert V. Walker, (b?), was a brilliant lawyer. While he vowed to protect the good of America, it is extraordinary that William Walker should go the other way: through crime, and bad behavior. In short, Walker's crimes was a symptom of the Army's experiences. Gun culture was rife back in the mid-1940's through to the early 1960's. Thus, in the fifteen year period, anyone who wanted to kill people did. And, for the Kennedy family, they wanted action...not just words. And, for Pat Brown, he offered a pardon. But, in the end, by 1982, he was executed**.
