Chapter 17

EEEEEAAAAAPPPP 2,000 views! I love you guys sooooooooo much! Sorry I've not put Lexi's POV in a while but it would be pretty boring considering she isn't conscious... (Alright Laura, shut up now) Anyway... I'll try and do more of hers soon. Moving on! I hope this chapter is cute and funny!

Nathan's POV

"Hello Mr Sykes." A women dressed completely in black appeared, she told me she worked at the hospital. I didn't want to believe her but her eyes seemed to control me and make me lap up every word she said

"Can I see Lexi now?" I asked patiently

"I'm afraid she... passed." She said with a smirk

"What?! Why did nobody t-tell me?"

"Just a distraction Mr Sykes." Her eyes sparkled deviously

"Huh?"

"Do you want to be with her?" 

"Yes. Always."

"Then you can be. Forever." She said, pulling a knife out of her pocket and plunging it into my heart. Everything faded quickly, it went pitch black then blinding white light filled the emptiness of the room.

"NATHAN WAKE UP AND STOP SCREAMING!" I heard Tom and Max chorus, then the lads practically shoved me off of my chair

"OY!"

"What? You're the one who was making a racket, we thought you were being murdered or something!" 

"Something along those lines, yes." I muttered under my breathe

"What?"

"Nothing, just  a bad dream is all." I sighed

"Come on, look lively, Lexi's waking up!" They exclaimed. I groggily turned my attention towards her as her eye lids fluttered over 

"You... You have no hair!" She giggled hysterically, pointing at Max which sent us into fits of laughter

She filled her cheeks with air and popped it with her hands then gasped melodramatically. She was acting like a 3 year old, it was hilarious and so adorable

"Ooh... Magic!" She exclaimed. I smiled at her, and laughed quietly which brought her attention to me

"Wow, a sloth!" She shouted at me, the lads laughed and Tom literally rolled on the floor laughing

"Shhh." Siva said so the nurses wouldn't come in and she agreed putting her finger to her lips too obediently 

"Guys, can you give us a minute?" The lads nodded

"Okay, I'll count! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7-" She shouted excitedly

"It's alright Lexi, I'll count." Max said, stifling laughter

"How are you feeling Lex? You worried me there." I said, stroking her hand

"I am... Awesome! Shhhhh...!" She shouted

"What is it?"

"She lluuuuurrrrrvvvveeeeesssss you!" She said, extending the word love for about 7 syllables too many and exaggerating the 'u' sound.

"Oh yeah, who's that?" I smiled

"No, don't tell her I told you! She doesn't want you to know!" She exclaimed

"Tell me pwease?" I pouted

"Leeeexxxxiiiii!"

"Huh? But you're-" She tilted her head in confusion so I stopped and smiled at her

"Well you can tell Lexi that I love her too." She nodded quickly

"And what did she say?"

"I don't know, she isn't here!" I laughed and she giggled and it was the cutest thing ever

I leaned forward and smoothed her long black curls away from her face and kissed her forehead 

"Naaaaaaaaatttthhhhaaaannnnn." She sighed

"What is it? Are you okay? Are you in pain? I'll get a nurse, just tell me, okay?" I panicked, firing a million questions.

"I'm tired."

"Oh... Okay then, hun. You go to sleep then." She closed her eyes and immediately I felt her pulse slow and she was fast asleep.

I walked out to the waiting room and saw that Tari and Stevie had turned up, Tari was sat on Max's lap, laughing and Stevie was cuddled up next to Siva, chatting lovingly about the wedding which they had already started planning. 

"Where's Bird?" I asked

"I dunno, saw him with some girl, they said they were going for a coffee." Max said, clearly not interested in anything other that Taraf

"Oh right, that's Nikki, the nurse. He's still with her? Aw bless!" I said

"Haha, she sounds like a superhero- Nikki The Nurse!" Tom joked

I walked over a bit closer and someone ran into me

"Sorry, Nathan!"The person said, she turned out to be Nikki

"Y'alright?" I asked

"Yeah, just late for work is all!"

"Okay, I won't keep you!" Then she ran off quickly, stumbling and nearly tripping over. She's perfect for Jay.

"She's cute." Max remarked but Tari slapped his head with the palm of her hand

"Awww babe, you know I only have eyes for you!" He said, pulling a funny face

"Well you better!" She huffed, crossing her arms and frowning but Max made it vanish very quickly by giving her a kiss and playing with her ear. Gross... Not a fan of PDA (public display of affection) 

"Aww bless! Nath, you'll understand when you finally get a girl... or boy." Max said, the boys stifled a laugh 

"Max! I'm not gay!" I said, shocked

"What? It's not like you've brought many girls home!"

"Well I'm not gay!"

"You do have a few... Traits..."

"I'm not gay! I can tell you that for a fact! Plus, I've had a few girls back!" 

Then Jay practically skipped in with a huge grin from ear to ear, we all turned round and waited expectantly to hear about his date, well the lads and I did it a lot less enthusiastically than the girls 

"I have a date tomorrow!" He whooped, Taraf pushed herself away from Max and ran towards him giving him a big hug, followed by Stevie who peeled Siva's arms off of her and then they all had a girly gossip session.

"God Jay, stop being such a girl! Keep talking like that and we won't be a boyband anymore!" Tom joked

"You're just jealous because no one will go on a date with you!" Jay smirked, sticking his tongue out. Tom frowned 

"It's alright Tom, you'll get a girl at some point." Stevie comforted.

"Or a boy." I smirked as Tom shock me daggers

"Oh come on, he has more traits than me!" I protested

"You keep telling yourself that..." Tom said, sticking his tongue out

I actually laughed while writing that! Sorry it wasn't very eventful nor have I had the most ideas for this chapter but I hope to have a bit of inspiration, it's been the holidays and I've not really been focused as I usually come up with ideas on my way to school.
