Chapter 18

OH MY FRIKKIN GOD I HAD 3,000 VIEWS! THANK YYOOUUUUUUUU!

Not forgetting that Nath is back, I was shaking like crazy, I swear fangirling is not healthy. He's so good, I've listened to it waaayyyy too much but I can't pick out a single flaw. I love how quiet it is when he sings, and how slow he sings it.

Sorry the upload took a while, I've been a bit preoccupied plus it was exam mock week at school... Then I got a mean case of writers block and just couldn't write a word! Next chapter should hopefully be easier because it's not about Lexi or Nath :D I hope that if you had any exams you did well! :D xxxxxx

Lexi's POV

I woke up with a banging headache... Hey, I woke up! I'm not dead! Yeah, niceeelllly! I tried to move but my back tingled with pain, I cringed and whimpered. I was scared, what's happening to me? I felt tears forming in my eyes but it hurt so much

"Hey Lex." Nathan said, I felt him reach out to me but as much as I wanted to, my eyes wouldn't open again

"Lexi?" Nothing... My limbs wouldn't connect with my brain

"Lexi, can you hear me?" I wanted to nod or say something but the pain was so inexplicably numbing that I couldn't move. An alarm went off and I heard people scurry in

"What happened?" I heard Nathan croak

"The pain she felt was very strong, it must have been too much." She sounded like she was unsure

"Does this happen a lot?"

"It's... Normal."

"I just want her to be okay." Nathan whispered, kissed my cheek and I felt something wet drop onto my nose... Then I blacked out again, consumed by darkness.

I came around again at some point and my headache was even worse, I looked around and found Nathan asleep at my side, he mustn't have left, little sweetheart

"Morning sleeping beauty." I mocked. He opened his eyes slowly and beamed at beautiful smile at me even though he was still half asleep

"Hey, you're up!" He said, happily. His eyes were slightly red and his hair was messy from sleeping

"Yep, although my back hurts like hell!"

"Yeah I bet. How are you?" He said, smirking slightly

"How do you think?"

"Alright, no need to be sarcy!"

"My head is pounding." I admitting, leaning heavily back on my pillow

"Do you want me to call a nurse?"

"Not right now... I just want to be around you, not fussed over." I said, smiling weakly

"You worried me back there." He continued, snatching my hand and interlacing his fingers in with mine

"I'm sorry." I whimpered

"Hey, hey, hey... Don't you be sorry, you have nothing to apologise for, this isn't your fault, not in the slightest." He said jokingly, poking me in the nose

"Oy you!" I said loudly, returning the gesture by poking his adorable button nose

"Hey, take it easy."

"Don't baby me!"

"Well baby, I will baby you because you're my baby!" He teased

"I'm not a baby!"
