Amu POV
(Next day at school)

I never thought I would ever say this, but I miss school. I was only gone for one day yet school is way better than being anywhere near the Ushijima residence by a landslide.

After seeing his mother and grandmother, I now understand why Wakatoshi didn't want me to introduce myself to them.... It makes a lot of sense now.

Anyhow, the only problem about coming back to school the next day is having to deal with the constant questions being asked by the members of the boys and girls volleyball team about my absence yesterday throughout the entire day today.

It's nice to have people worry about me, but at the same time it's weird. I never had people ask me where I've have been and how I'm doing. My existence used to be as small as ant, but now there are people who are concerned about my well-being.

It's definitely a new change in my life, but a good change that makes me happy even though I'm worrying them.

Right now I'm at the girls volleyball gym practicing with the girls volleyball team. Earlier the boys volleyball team came over to play too which was great practice for us, but I think they came over to see how I was doing which was very considerate of them.

After a long period of volleyball practice, we decided to end it short for the day and take a break.

"Amu~" Seki taps me on the shoulder. "How did meeting Wakatoshi's grandmother and mother go?"

"..." I slightly frown thinking back to yesterday events. "It could have been better."

"I still can't believe that you actually met Ushijima's mother and grandmother," Shiro comments and shakes her head. "Must have been a nightmare."

...

It was a nightmare.

Kimiko shrugs. "I personally felt like this would happen and I'm sure Ushiwaka knew about it too. The Ushijima family always wants to top the Serizawa and Akashi families, but they never could because they're such a stick-in-the-mud with their traditions." Kimiko comments then takes a sip of her water from her water bottle.

"I swear I'm hearing way too much politics," Nao yawns and glances over to me. "But Amu are you okay now?" She asks concerned and I nod my head.

"I'm fine. Don't worry," I reassure her. "It not like I'm scarred for life or anything," I joke. "But how did the entire girls volleyball team figure this out anyways?"

Seki raises her hand. "News spreads pretty fast when it comes to the power of sibling telekinesis~"

"Sibling telekinesis?" I stare at her with deadpanned look.

"She's means talking and gossiping with her older brother," Nao translates.

"You're no fun Nao," Seki pouts. "Besides it wasn't just me, Kenjiro probably told Kazue what happened too since their siblings as well plus Kazue is the captain for the girls volleyball team so she should know everything."

"Where is Kazue anyways isn't she captain? Shouldn't she be here for practice?" Shiro asks and I scan the gym.

Where is the captain????

"Oh. She's trying to recruit our former ace, Erena," Nao answers.

I didn't know we had a former ace???
