Yamaguchi Tadashi x Reader; Puppy Dog.

It's common for Yama to be compared to a puppy, so you can guess what's gonna happen. It's gonna be a bit like KnB, and you'll find a puppy then decided to name is Tadashi 2. I was out of ideas bcs I thought he was hard to write for, but I owe it to the fandom! Enjoy, sorry it's short. (F/S) means Fave Sport btw.

It was evening, after the boys' volleyball practice had ended, and (Y/N) was waiting outside in her kit, as he training night for (F/S) was now over.

She felt the breeze running round the back of the gymnasium, and every time it picked up and blew at her, her teeth chattered. Why didn't she enter the gym to keep warm? Simply because she couldn't handle how annoying Tsukki would become when she was around Yamaguchi.

Tadashi was inside with Kei, now out of their gym gear and in normal clothes. The two boys stood tall and bowed slightly to their elders as they were released. Yamaguchi looked around and saw a shaking shadow in a woman's (F/S) kit and sighed, knowing it would be (Y/N).

He walked over, behind him was Kei (like a shadow), and looked down into a pair of evenly heightened (E/C) eyes. "(Y/N)-chan, why haven't you changed into your normal clothes?" He asked, tilting his head whilst Tsukishima smirked.

The fact that Kei was smirking made the (H/C) tick and turn around to kick him in the back.

It was successful, she managed to get him on the floor with an arched spine, in crippling pain whilst mumbling swears beneath his breath. (Y/N) just beamed brightly, grabbed Yamaguchi and pulled him along, trying to get away form Tsukishima before she could be killed.

After about 5 minutes of running, they reached Coach Ukai's store, and they took a breather, knowing Tsukki wouldn't be too far behind. As they sat in the step outside, (Y/N) took this as an opportunity to answer the question Tadashi asked. "I couldn't be bothered to get out my kit, and considering Tsukki would be pissed I kicked him, it was for the best!"

Tadashi looked at her, staring into her (E/C) eyes which glistened with mischief, before sighing. "You do have a death wish, don't you?" He teased, only smiling softly as (Y/N) leant against his shoulder and yawned.
"Well, Kei is an arsehole, Daichi-senpai hadn't done so, ergo I decided to." She mumbled, clearly hacked off about the subject of Tsukishima.

Yamaguchi just laughed softly, turning his head to face the girl that on his shoulder...

But she had vanished.

"Y/N)-chan?! Where are you?!" He cried out in a panic, only to have her reappear in front of him holding a little box with a tiny German Shepard pup, with big brown eyes. Yamaguchi heaved a sigh of relief and looked at the girl to scold her.

His eyes were instead met with the puppy's, and he melted slightly inside; this is when Yachi, Kageyama, Hinata and a very disgruntled (and almost alight) Tsukishima came down the hill.

'Shit. I'm dead. It was nice knowing you all!' (Y/N) thought to herself, holding the puppy carefully as a shield almost.

Yachi was first to notice, an pointed it out to Hinata. The red head started sparkling and he zipped over to (Y/N), hands grabbing the puppy as he stared into his insanely cute face. "Does he remind you of anyone?" He asked, the 4 that just arrived going to him, whilst Yamaguchi stood next to (Y/N).

The team started examining closely, and came to the conclusion that the ball of fluff looked like Yamaguchi. Yachi and Hinata flailed whilst Kei and Tobio just glared at one another, sighed, and grabbed the two respective fans of the puppy, pulling them apart.

(Y/N) giggled, taking the puppy back and holding him close. "He is gonna be Tadashi Number 2!"
At this, Yamaguchi burrowed his head in his hands, sighing. "We aren't that similar, (L/N)-chan." He complained, but by that time, everyone was just falling head over heels for the puppy.

After about 20 minutes of puppy play, (Y/N) along with Kei and Tada-chan starting to head their way home. The (H/C) was playing with the puppy's paw, whilst being attacked with licks from said furball. Tsukki turned off about 10 minutes after they set off, leaving Tadashi and (Y/N) with Tadashi the Second.

They both trundled along, but when they stopped by a pet store, getting a bowl, his food and a lead for him (Tadashi II, not Yama). They bought was was needed and continued their way home.

They bumbled along when Tadashi II pulled on the lead without (Y/N) expecting it, so she was hauled forward. Yamaguchi reacted as fast as possible, his hands reaching out to her waist and hand so he could hold her and the lead.

They fell on each other, Yamaguchi below (Y/N) with their lips pressed against the other's. When they realised this, they pulled away from one another beet red, but smiled shyly nonetheless.

"Uhhh... I'm gonna... Go." (Y/N) mumbled as they were outside their houses. Yama got up after she did and nodded, pressing a kiss to her cheek.
"Okay, I'll see you tomorrow morning (N/N)-chan!" He said happily, handing her the lead and the bag that he held on her behalf.

Once they got to their doors, they looked to see one another staring, before blushing and opening their doors.

Yamaguchi's smile ember faltered as he shut the door, mumbling happily to himself.

"I will make you mine one day, L/N) (Y/N)."
