Here, there and everywhere. [Anime X Reader One Shots]

[RQ] All Might x Reader; Safety In Numbers.

This is for @kingdicexjackson  who requested an All Might/Toshinori Yagi x Wife! Reader, where he tries his best to keep her safe.

As always, I apologise if he is OOC, it's been a while since I watch MHA and I feel like I may have captured his essence, and he's younger than where I last saw him in the anime last time. Also gonna put in a warning about pregnancy (surprise!) because I am aware that it is a trigger for some people/makes them uncomfortable. I have also named you with a superhero name for plot's sake, but feel free to replace it with what you feel.

Key:

H/T - Hair Tone (Brunette/Blonde etc). S/T - Skin Tone (light, tan, medium, dark, etc).

The news was becoming harder and more terrifying to watch, all eyes were on the mysterious hero, dubbed All Might, appeared on the scene. (Y/N) was staring at the screen, eyes becoming cloudy, knowing his real identity, breath laboured as she saw the burly young man on the screen.

As there was more and more footage of damage and debris, the knot in her stomach becoming tighter with fear and anxiety, clawing their way into her skin and stomach. Soon enough, the scene clears to show All Might had conquered the villains, them in some form of power suppressing handcuffs. The hero of the moment disappeared into the cloud, exclaiming 'Never fear, for I am here', before thundering away.

Shortly after, the front door of their abode opened, and in walked Toshi, his build slimmer than on the news, flinching when he saw his newly-wed wife's face, stern but eyes filled with worry. he smiled sheepishly, his lips forcing his classic grin, a hand rubbing the back of his neck. "Hello, darling, how was your day?"  He was rewarded with no response other than his wife crossing her arms across her chest. "You saw the news, didn't you?" He received nothing but a raised brow. "I'll take that as a yes..." He trailed off, his wife sighing and opening her arms to greet him.

He rushed into her arms relishing in her warmth and in her scent, the perfume that she wore on their wedding day, a rosy scent that wafted down the aisle on that beautiful day. "I did see the news, and my day was fine." She mumbled into his broad and supple chest, smelling the ash and debris on his work suit. "How was your day?" She asked pulling away and brushing her hand over his cheek, getting some of the dirt off his face, his hand gently resting against her cheek as he wiped away a stray tear.

"I'm sorry, (Y/N), I didn't mean to worry you, my love..." He mumbled, resting his forehead against hers. "I just wanted to keep the world safe for you, as you are my world." He then pressed soft kisses to her (S/T) forehead.

"I understand that, Toshi..." She said as she replaced herself in his wingspan. "But I feel safe in your arms every day." Bright (E/C) eyes looked up at him, eyes welling up with the relief of him being home.

"I promised you when. we got married that I would protect you, and I will do so until our final breaths..." He reiterated to his beloved, pressing a soft kiss to her lips, his wife responding in turn. "When was the last time we had some private time? We've been so busy since our wedding with hero work and general work, how's about we have dinner and a movie at home tonight?" He proposed, (Y/N) mulled over it, but was won over when he said the magic works -- he would cook.

~Approx 2 months later~

More and more villains came up, and that meant the invincible All might had been coming home later and later each day that passed.

(Y/N) kept telling herself the daily nausea was just the stress and anxiety, but then decided to head to the school to see her friend, Chiyo, knowing she needed to catch up with her and would have some kind of treatment for how she was feeling.
