After the game

I texted Hayes after the game.

Me- meet me at the park in five.

I walked to the park by myself and waited for him on a swing.

"What's up?, he said".

"We need to talk".

"What happened".

"So, while you were playing basketball at your game I talked to Hannah".

"What did she say?".

"She knows about us kissing the other day".

"How?".

"I don't know and she wasn't even there during basketball".

"Is she gonna tell anyone about us?".

"No, unless I piss her off and for her my presence just pisses her off".

"Stay away from her".

"Ok, but what do I do?".

"Don't say a word and don't talk to her unless you want everyone to find out that we're going out again".

"Ok".

"Think you can do that".

"Yeah".

"Good".

" I don't want rumors going around and to be honest Shelby, Ariana , Chloe, and Mia have been getting suspicious".

"Yeah and Daniel thinks I'm up to something bad so he's watching me constantly".

"Anyways, how's your foot".

"It's healing i guess".

"How many more weeks do you have to be in that boot?".

"Wanna come over? , nobody's home".

"Ok let's go, and why did you want to come here to the park when it's like 30 degrees right now".

"It's peaceful and I like the December weather".

"Of course you do".

"Dude I'm wearing a puffy Hollister coat and all you're wearing is a light under armor hoodie".

"Your cheeks are bright red".

"Or are you blushing?"

"A bit of both".

"Let's go, he said and he grabbed my hand.

Hayes' house

We sat down on his couch and we watched the movie elf.

As soon as the movie was ending there was a knock on the door.

I jumped off of the couch and ran into Hayes' room.

I walked into his closet until i heard someone come in.

"Bell what are you doing?"

"Aren't your parents home?"

"That was the Chinese delivery guy".

"Huh?"

"I ordered food for us".

"Oh, I said waking awkwardly out of his closet.

"Don't freak out, my parents are gone for the week".

"Oh".

At about 8 pm I left his house and went back to my house so no one would suspect anything.
