The next day
I've been waiting to hear from my number one college that I applied for. I applied for Florida state and I really want to get accepted because they have an amazing programs that I want to explore. My second choice is Yale because I want to be a doctor or nurse someday. I've been waiting for college letters to come in and so far I've got accepted into 3 schools, UConn, Duke, and UCLA. I don't know which school I want to get into more but I tell people that I want to get into Florida state more. Out of the 3 schools I've gotten letters from my first choice is UConn . I sat on my couch and I was about to turn on the TV until my phone started to vibrate, the caller ID read Shelby, so I picked it up.
Me- hi
Shelby- guess who got into UConn
Me- you?
Shelby- yeah me and Daniel
Me- that's great
Shelby- so have you heard from Yale or Florida?
Me- not yet, but I did get accepted into UConn
Shelby- I can just see us all living in Connecticut or close to it
Me- what about Ari, Dante, Josh, Brandon, Connor, Chloe, gabe, Tyler, and Mia?
Shelby- Ariana, Connor and Dante are going to Sacred Heart university, Brandon and Gabe are going to the University of Rhode Island, and Mia, Josh, and Tyler are going to Villanova even though that's like 3 hours away but we can all meet halfway.
Me- but that's if I go to UConn or Yale
Shelby- what about Hayes?
Me- what about Hayes?
Shelby- where is he going
Me- that's a great question
Shelby- he hasn't told you
Me- nope and I haven't even asked
Shelby- graduation is in a couple months
Me- no it's not
Shelby- 6 months goes by fast
Me- I guess
Shelby- that means prom is in 5 months
Me- yeah
Shelby I heard someone whisper on the phone and she started to giggle
Me- was that Daniel?
Shelby- duh bye
Me- wait are you and him like...
Shelby- maybe, maybe not
She hung up and I decided to text Hayes because she got me thinking
Me- can you come over later?
Hayes- sure but after you help me move
Me- move?
Hayes- oh yeah I forgot to tell you that I moved into a new room
