Chapter 54

Cancer POV: Riddle After Riddle
As the clock strikes midnight, I feel myself worry even more. I know that they said that they all would be home around ten but, this is just shaking my nerves. I rub my neck one more time just as I hear the door open. I feel my head shoot up as I see a bleeding Scorpio who is holding an barley breathing Pisces. I absentmindedly walk over to them only to realize that Pisces's scar is now open and bleeding green blood like there's no tomorrow. Wait, green blood? Does she have poison in her body? Anyway, I look into Scorpio's eyes as Aqua comes rushing in. He instantly joins our little ' party ' as he strokes Pisces's hand which causes him to receive a strong glare from Scorpio.
As we lay down Pisces on one of the two couches, Aphros comes rushing in and looks at Pisces with despair in his eyes. A smile appears on her perfect lips as she weakly says," Guys... I'm... fine... I just... lost a lot of blood even though, which... helped get most of the poison out... Scorpio brought me here as fast... as he could."
When she finishes, blue magic encases her arm as she struggles to fix her open scar. It closes a little bit more. She tries again while she closes her eyes and while the rest of us decide that we need to get the rest of the girls and Perseus. Aqua and I immediately volunteer to get them and drag along Aphros with us as quickly leave to silently find them. As soon as the door slams behind us, I realize that we are all embarking on another adventure together even if some of my best friends are missing.
Scorpio POV
As I look at Pisces, my brain recalls her scream as the monster strikes her in he scar with her scorpion tail. She saved me by sacrificing herself for me. As stupid as it sounds, it's pretty true. I am driven from my thoughts as Perseus and Aqua come rushing in. When Perseus takes one look at Pisces, he looks like he's the one dying. A single tears drops from his left eye as he looks straight into my eyes, into my soul.
He says with pain in his voice," What the heck happened here?! Why is my sister like this?!? What have you done?!?!"
I try to calm him down as I say," A monster ruined our date. She saved me. I couldn't control what happened. But, I want you to know, that I did everything to protect her."
His glare softens as Aphros, Cancer, Gemini, Libra, and Taurus come in. Soon enough, I am looking through the book in which we originally started our past journey from. As I come to a page marked Kanpê, I see a very detailed drawing of a monster and instantly know that it was her. But, the book says she's dead?! This is one riddle that's going to tare me apart.
Aphros POV
As Scorpio shows me and Perseus the page marked Kampê, I realize that there's an antidote to her poison. There's a small flask title antidote with enough for one person but, will it work? Inside the flask is a small piece of paper, that must hold some truth. As I take the book from Scorpio, I realize that the recipe for the antidote is inside that bottle. When I realized, Scorpio must've too, which causes both of us to look at Pisces.
As we bring this situation into the others conversation, we are soon brought up with the problem of Cap, Sagi, Virgo, and Leo. It is decided that Aqua, Libra, and Aries will leave to find Sagi, and Cap while Cancer, Gemini, and Taurus will leave to find Leo and Virgo. They leave as soon as they agree to give Pisces the liquid in the flask. Whatever it is, they agree that we have to try to save someone. When they leave, Perseus sits down by his sister and tenderly looks at her calm face. I bet he's wondering if there's an antidote.
With a possible recipe for the antidote being in the flask, the possibility of the flask being a poison runs through my brain. It might be forever before we find Leo, Virgo, Cap or Sagi. And when we do, will they be like Pisces? If they are, they'll most likely need the antidote. But, what if the antidote is in the flask? We can't waste an opportunity to save someone. And what of the antidote has side affects? What if it's a poison? Ugh, apparently there's more cons than pros but, it's our only chance.
I am pulled from my thoughts as we realize we can't drain the bottle by poring it into another cup, someone must drink it. As Perseus walks over to me and asks,"  Is that an antidote?"
            I reply with," It is but, it could be a poison. "
          He looks at me dead in the eyes and says,"  I'm willing to take that chance."
        As soon as he says that, I know it's what the other Zodiac signs would have wanted. I look at Scorpio as he nods in approval as I hand Perseus the possible antidote. Pisces stirs as we all turn our heads to her. Her breathing becomes unsteady as she says," Guys, I'm feeling fine. If it's a poison, it can't damage me anymore right? But, if it's an antidote it will help with the fight to get all the poison out of my system. And plus we need the antidote's recipe. So give it here."
Pisces POV
As Perseus gives me the small flask, I uncork it and drain the liquid. I feel my body mend together as it shakes a bit. As I take a large gulp of air, Aqua, Libra, and Aries return with unconscious Sagi and Cap who is bleeding from multiple cuts. I shoot up but, I feel my knees buckle and a set of arms prop me up. I turn my head to be met by Scorpio's carefree blue eyes. He pecks my lips as he swings his arm around me as we walk towards our friends.
When we reach them, I know that we have to find the antidote. I unroll the price of paper to find the recipe written in black ink that has surprisingly hasn't smeared. The ingredients are unknown to many of us. All I know is that we have to gather them soon or our friends will dye.
