Chapter 56

Scorpio POV: They Have Love Just Like Me
        As I stand in the doorway of my dorm, I see everyone leave to go to their dorms or the library to gather information about the places in which we are going. I sigh and turn around, to only be inches away from Pisces's face. She wraps her arms around my neck as she kisses my tired lips. When we part, I smile and say," I'm glad we're going to the Underworld together."
         She chuckles and replies," You make it sound like an occasion."
       " Really?! I mean I couldn't think of a more romantic place than the Underworld," I reply with sarcasm. She smiles as she pecks my lips one more time. She ends our embrace and while she stops just outside the doorway, she says," Well, I better be off. I still have to pack and gather information about the Underworld. See ya at 6."
          With that, I am left alone. Anyway, as I look at Leo and Sagi, I can't help but think that they have love just like me and that they might lose it if we don't come back in time. As I hear the door creak open, I immediately try to look busy by grabbing my bag and start to stuff it with whatever's around. I soon realize it's Cancer and Aqua. We exchange glances as Aqua questions," You'll protect Pisces right? You'll never leave her side? You'll be there when I'm not there?"
I turn around to meet his distressed eyes and as I place my hand on his shoulder, I reply," Of course, I will. Now, I need the both of you to keep each other safe. Please, you know that if anything happens to any of us, the rest of us will be a mess."
They nod as Cancer says," Scorpio, can you help me with something?"
When he finishes, I grab my bag as he leads me out of the dorm and into the library where we pass Pisces and Libra surrounded by plies of book. We reach a private study area where Cancer silently closes the door behind us. He looks at me and pulls out a chair for me as he sits down across from me.
He pulls out a book marked Underworld, opens it to a marked page, and hands it to me. The open page is folded nicely as if what's most important is on the inside. With curiosity burning inside of me, I unfold it. As a colorful map opens, I see label after label, marked with names and what I'm guessing are page numbers. As I stare in awe at this map, Cancer says," I think this will help you."
        After a pause, he continues as Perseus comes in," Scorpio... Perseus... umm... would you like to sit down?"
He starts to stand up as Perseus says," Oh, no. It's okay. Stay seated. Please I insist."
He sits back down as I say," Thank you Cancer for the book. I'll see ya both soon. Bye."
      I stand up, offer my chair to Perseus, and as he takes it, I quietly leave the small study area, closing the door behind me. I walk down the library until I drop the book as Aries scares me and runs off. As I squat down and start to pick up the book, a hand grasps the book with mine. I take Pisces's hand as she hands me the book.
I say," Honey, shouldn't you be sleeping?"
She puts her free hand on her hip as she replies," I didn't know you were my mother."
As soon as she says that, her face drains  color as she recalls that her real mother is gone. I also feel my heart drop when she says those words. As I place the book on a near table, she takes a deep breath. I feel my eyes glow with passion and as I grasp her hand a bit tighter, I spin her. A smile returns to her lips and mine. Soon we are in each other's arms and are slowly walking out of the library and to Pisces's dorm.
Libra POV
As the door creaks open, in come Pisces and Scorpio. They look so happy. Scorpio immediately helps Pisces pack her bag while his is still hung on his shoulder. They then sit on her bed and look at a book that shows a full scale map of what I'm guessing is the Underworld. When I see how much they love each other, it makes me jealous. I definitely do NOT like Scorpio and I would never hurt Pisces in that way but, I sometimes wish I was as lucky as they are. I mean, my crush probably doesn't even notice me. I just love his hazel eyes and his caring nature but, he probably doesn't and couldn't like a girl like me.
Anyway, we all realize it's almost 6. As Gemini comes out from the bathrooms and gathers her bag. I see Pisces say goodbye to Virgo and Cap as we start to leave the room. Gemini and I lead as Scorpio and Pisces follow closely behind. I look back as Pisces turns off the lights and closes the doors. As soon as she finishes, Scorpio grasps her hand as they follow behind us.
When we reach the dorm, I can't help but, think that we might not come back. Or maybe our friends will be gone when we reach them. I just hope that we all come back safe and that our friends will be themselves again.
