Secrets (Poe Dameron x Reader)

"So you're telling me that it's just a coincidence that you've suddenly transferred into Poe's squadron?" Finn asked, wiggling his eyebrows.

You rolled your eyes, "Finn, I told you! Poe was short a pilot and needed help for his last mission," You explained.

Rey laughed, "Oh c'mon, Y/N. He could've asked anyone and he asked you. Finn's right, there's no way that was a coincidence," She winked.

You scoffed, "Well why wouldn't he want to ask me to fill in? I'm a damn good pilot!"

"Of course you are," Rey said, "All we're saying is that it's funny that you said there's nothing going on between you, especially when you've been working so closely lately," She smirked.

"There's nothing going on between us!" You were trying to pretend like you had no clue what they were talking about, but you felt your facade weaken with every new comment they made.
"Oh please, Y/N," Rey said.

"Rey's right, Y/N. There's only so much you can lie about– especially to your friends," Finn chuckled.

BB-8 rolled into the room and nudged you gently before turning to speak to Finn and Rey.

You had learned enough binary to understand most of what was being said and you groaned, "BB-8, you promised to keep that a secret!"

"Uh, some of us aren't as well- versed in Droidspeak as everyone else on this base seemed to be," Finn looked pointedly between you and Rey, "Someone wanna tell me what the droid said?"

"BB-8 came to tell us that he saw Y/N and Poe kissing behind the old X-Wings in the hangar," Rey giggled.

You cringed.

"I knew it was true!" Finn exclaimed.
BB-8 uttered something to Rey that you couldn't quite make out.

She turned to you, "BB-8 said you have his approval," She grinned, "And mine, of course," She added.

"Mine too!" Finn chimed in.
