Aliyah P.O.V.
I yawned as I walked down the cold steps to the first floor of Ronnie's house. I woke up in the bed alone, letting me know that he had to be down here.
I smiled a little to myself, once I heard the sports channel playing softly in the background. I stepped down the last step and peeked into the den, where I knew he was.
He was always watching football, basketball, tennis or some other type of sport. I walked up behind the couch and wrapped my arms around him, kissing his cheek.
"Goodmorning."
He looked over his shoulder before leaning his head all the way back, letting me give him a upside down kiss. "Morning."
I walked over to the front of the couch and took a seat by him. "How'd you sleep?" I tucked my feet under my legs, and pulled down the tiny t-shirt I was wearing.
"Fine, it would have been better if I woke up beside you."
He chuckled. "My bad baby, Coach called this morning, so once I got off the phone with him, I just decided to stay up, Hershel's making breakfast right now."
I nodded. "Okay, what did your coach say?"
"Nothing important, he was just giving us a head ups for the games coming up, we gotta home game coming up in two weeks."
I yawned again, nodding my head. "Agaisnt who?"
"The Atlanta Hawks."
"Oh, you do?"
"Yep, you gunna be there right?" I smiled. "Of course, you know Ima be there baby."
"Mhm, and I hope your cheerin for me, and not your lil friend on the team." I chuckled, slapping his arm.
"Whatever, you know Im your personal cheerleader." He licked his lips, looking me up and down.
"You got that right." He grabbed me, pulling me up on his lap.
"But forreal." He started. "You never told me how you and dude know each other." I swalloed hard.
"Me and Marcus?" He nodded. "Oh..um, we went to the same high school...we had first period together."
I wasn't sure if I should just tell Ronnie about Marcus' and I's history, so I just decided on leaving it out.
"And you remember some random dude you had first period with?" He asked in a chuckle. "Yeah....I tutored him for a little while, that's why we remember each other."
He nodded. "Damn, you were a nerd in high school huh?" I rolled my eyes, climbing off his lap.
"Come on so we can eat." I climbed off the couch and held out my hand for him to grab. "You spendin the day with me?"
I smiled a little, as he grabbed my hand, letting him pull me up. "I have to pick up Sky today and babysit her, so I was planning on going back to my place after breakfast."
He sighed. "You can't watch Sky here with me? Football seasons about to start, and you know what that means we don't get to spend time together."
"I know." I said, walking into the dining room. "So that means you should be tryna spend as much time with your man as possible." He pulled my chair out for me and motioned for me to sit down.
I chuckled, sitting down in my seat. "Mmmm, well when you put it that way.....I guess I can bring Skylar over here for a little while, but under one condition though."
"What's that?" He asked, taking a seat beside me. "No more gifts. She has enough toys, and everytime I bring her around, you spoil her." He chuckled. "That's because she's adorable."
