Aliyah P.O.V.
"Why you so quiet over there? You must be nervous." I took a few deep breaths, trying to stop my racing heart. "You weren't nervous on your graduation day?"
He chuckled. "I was, but I was excitied especially when I was about to walk, all the nerves went out the window, ion really get nervous anymore anyways."
I rolled my eyes. "Of course you dont Mr.NFL, I would be surprised if you did."
"I mean, for certain games I do, like the real big one's, but nerves are good baby, they're always good."
"Right." I mumbled.
He grabbed my hand, turning me towards him. "You'll be fine, just walk across, get your degree and shake the dean's hand, simple."
I inhaled deeply, nodding my head. "Okay, I got this."
"Good." He kissed my forehead, letting me go.
"I'll be cheering for you." He winked at me, before walking off, leaving me alone.
I took another deep breath, turning towards the building doors. I wasn't even half this nervous when I was graduating high school, so I didn't know why this was so different.
I pulled the doors open and stepped inside, following the instructions to get to the graduate section.
I knew half of my nerves had something to do with daddy being here today. We hadn't spoken since the family barbeque, half of the reason being that he wasn't returning my calls, but today was gunna be the first time we've seen each other since then, and I wasn't sure what to expect.
Ronnie and his mama were here, and I honestly wasn't sure if it was a good idea for him to sit with my family, but he did anyways.
I doubted that daddy would start anything at my graduation, but then again, I wasn't 100 percent sure.
"You ready sexy?" I looked to my left and slightly rolled my eyes once I seen Mario beside me.
"Im not even gunna say anything to you today, because it's obvious you'll never get it, but yes, Im ready."
He smirked, fixing his gown up on himself. "Well Im ready too, it's about time we got finished with this school."
I chuckled. "You act like this school is the worst, I admit, Senior year took hella long though." He nodded.
"Yeah, but Im ready, it's about time for me to get out into the real world, and get a good payin ass job, so I can make this money."
I smirked a little, as we turned down another hallway. "You're always bringing up money like you're broke, I mean, this school ain't cheap, so unless you came here on a scholarship, then your family muust have some money hiden somewhere."
He slighty nodded. "I mean, my pops has money, and my mama has some two, and they both put in for me to be here and for my sister too."
I frowned, looking over at him. "You have a sister?"
"Yeah, she don't go here though, her graduation is in a few weeks though."
"Oh." I said lowly. "She's goes to school here in Atlanta?"
"Yeah." He pulled open the last door for me, letting me go in first.
I looked up at the sign that read last names A-G Line 1 and sighed. "Alright, well I guess this is it."
Mario smirked. "I guess so, goodluck, I'll look for you after the ceremony."I lifted a brow. "Ronnie's here, just so you know."
He shrugged. "I just wanna say bye, we probably won't see each other again after today, and you know I gotta give my lil baby a hug before she leaves." I chuckled.
