"I've missed you so much babygirl, you look good." I smiled as daddy held onto me, not wanting to let me go.
"Thank you, you look good too daddy." He smirked. "I always look good."
I shook my head and chuckled, looking away from him. "Where's Ronnie?" Mama asked, looking out the window.
"Oh he's coming, he's getting our bags out of the car." She smiled. "He's such a gentlemen, I spoke to Marsha, and she's on the way over." I nodded. "Good.....Is Auntee Kelsey and Uncle Craig here yet?"
Mama shook her head. "No, they called about a hour ago and said their plane had landed, so they should be here soon."
I took a small sigh of relief, wanting Marissa to get here as soon as she could so I wouldn't be as nervous about the news I had to tell everyone.
"Hey mama Simone." I looked up at the door and smirked once I seen Ronnie stepping inside, sitting our bags by the door.
"Hey baby." He walked over to her and gave her a big hug, kissing her on the side of her forehead. "How you been mama?" She nodded. "Good, and you?"
"Better than ever." He said with a smile. He took a deep breath and turned to daddy, who already was scowling at him.
"How you doing Mr.Alsina?" He stuck out his hand, waiting for daddy to shake it. Daddy looked him up and down, ignoring his hand.
"Don't put yo lips on my wife again." He said, causing me to sigh. This was typical daddy. He was always starting something with Ronnie, or just having a attitude with him for no reason.
I shook my head, while mama nudged daddy in the side. "August stop being rude to the boy and say hello."
"Sup." He mumbled, before walking off. "Don't mind him." Mama said, fanning him off. "Y'all hungry? I was in the middle of cooking when y'all got here."
"I am." Ronnie said, raising his hand. "Good, the foods almost ready, and when Marsha gets here things should move a little faster." He nodded. "Take your time Ms.Simone, I can wait."
She smiled. "Aliyah, you wanna help me out in the kitchen? Ronnie you can have a seat in the backyard, all the guys are out there anyways."
I sighed a little, nodding my head. "Yeah, sure." I looked over at Ronnie and smiled before walking away with mama.
"How you been baby?" She asked, taking a good look at me. "Im good mama, we just spoke on the phone not too long ago."
"I know, but Im just so glad that your home, I haven't seen you in a few months." I took a deep breath. "I know, school's been crazy, and I've been trying to keep the boutique in order, and be there for Ronnie with his new career, Im just trying to find balance for everything right now."
Mama nodded, as we stepped into the kitchen. "I know."
I opened my mouth to speak, but stopped once I seen we weren't the only people in the kitchen. "Oh my god, look at you, hey baby." I smiled a little once I seen Auntee Stasia coming towards me with open arms.
I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her back, since she had just pulled me into a huge hug.
"How you been Li? I haven't seen you in forever!" I laughed a little, taking in her new look. "I've been good, can't complain, how are you? I like your hair."
She smiled, running her hands through her short curly hair. "Thank you, I love the waves on you, Amara get over here and say hello."
She stepped to the side, motioning to someone sitting at the table. She got up and slowly walked over to me.
