"Let me get the window seat, I hate being near the aisle, random people always be touching on you and I'm not in the mood for that this morning,"
I sucked my teeth as I placed me and Brias bag in the overhead bin.
"Nah, you got the aisle ticket so that's where you gone sit."
"Come on please," she started. "Everybody knows the aisle seat is like the second worst after the middle seat, just let me get the window seat this one time, please."
I sighed, knowing that I didn't want to hear her complaining and begging until the plane took off.
"Ight, Whatever, just sit down so can shut up,"
She smirked, scooting passed me until she got to her seat.
It had been a little over a week since mama and Bria came out to Atlanta and it was officially time for them to fly back home.
Surprisingly, I found myself on the flight back with them after making the decision the night before to go back home since we still had some time off before the playoffs.
"So how long are you staying?" Bria asked, pulling her headphones out of her carry on bag.
"Ion know, just a few days, why? You sick of me already?" She slightly rolled her eyes, placing in one of her earbuds.
"That's an understatement, you're not staying at the house right?" I frowned. "Uh, yeah I was, damn, I can't even stay at my own house?"
"You can," she started. "Just don't annoy me, which you seemed to find a way to do this whole trip,"
"Nah that's you, you've been getting on my nerves since the first day, so just stay out of my way and I'll stay outta yours."
"Deal."
I shook my head, leaning back into my seat, placing my bears around my neck.
"Y'all buckle up," Mama said, poking her head over to Bria and I's seats.
"We know mama." I buckled my seat belt, before leaving over, checking Brias seatbelt just to make sure it was secure.
"I'm so happy you're coming home with us, you still haven't told me what you're coming home for, you want me to cook something for you, don't you?"
I chuckled. "I mean, yeah of course, but nah, that ain't the reason why I decided to fly back, since I got some more time off, I might as well spend the rest of that time back home chilling with y'all, and I'm sure Aunt Trice wants to see me since she couldn't make it to Atlanta."
Mama smiled. "Well that's sweet of you baby, she's gonna be so happy when she sees that you're there, she's been watching all your games religiously."
I smiled. "That's wassup, yeah, it'll just be fun to kick it with everybody for a little bit, you know, spend more quality time with the family."
"Well good thinking," She smiled at me one last time before leaning back into her seat, getting comfortable.
Even though I did want to spend more time with everyone before the upcoming games, the real reason I decided to fly back home was to possibly check up on Aliyah after I heard about her accident a few days ago.
After seeing the video that was floating around social media for myself, I had to just check in with her to see if shit was good. I was hoping that she would be feeling good enough to speak to me, and give me the real about what's going on between her and dude, since what she told me last about their situation wasn't good.
