"It's time to grow up! Don't you want to be a big girl?" Calum says enthusiastically, crouching down beside you, frowning.
Although your mum felt awful about it, she wasn't able to take you on your first day of kindergarten. But Calum said he wouldn't mind so here we were.
"No! No! Wanna stay with Cally and play!" You cry, throwing your backpack on the ground and crying loudly.
"Y/N! You better pick that up right now or you will be in so much trouble." He says firmly and sighs softly.
You huff and pick it up, looking up at him and crying. "Don't wanna go!" You cry.
He sighs and grabs your shoulders. "Baby, I'll be right here at 11, to pick you up, and we'll go and get lunch and ice cream." He sighs, looking at you and fixing your pigtail.
"With sprinkles?" You ask softly and fiddle with your shirt.
"With all the sprinkles you want, baby doll."
He coos and you nod softly.
"Okay, Cally." You whisper and take his hand shyly.
He smiles warmly and walks you to your first day of kindergarten, greeting the teacher, Ms.Rogers.
