    I felt bad for ditching, but I needed that break! In my whole life worth of school I've never missed one day! When I was sick my mom would always "suck it up buttercup." I can't hate her for it. My mom is a very strong independent woman. It took her until I was 6 to even let my dad hold the door open for her! Anyways I'll make it up to jordan some how.

6:00
   *beep beep beep* my stupid alarm clock. I turned it off and went on to my phone. I went to see Finns Instagram to see if he had posted anything new, not creepy at all. Wow! He has almost a 2000 followers now! People must be noticing him from the music video. I texted him. "Finn why did you not tell me you were blowing up! Not literally, ugh you know what I mean" I texted him. "It just started coming in! Jeez this music video is finally getting a lot of views!" He texted back. I smiled. I went downstairs and made some cereal. Cinnamon Toast Crunch, my favorite. After I finished eating I went upstairs to get ready for school.

45 minutes later.
      I'm all ready! I said goodbye to my mom and dad and brother and headed out. I saw Finn. "Hey Finn!" I said and he ran up to me and hugged me really tight. Weird. "Are you okay?" I asked him. "Yes I'm more than okay! I'm getting noticed Tate my acting career has launched!" He said and I gave a big smile. "I know and I'm so proud of you!" I said and he blushed. We were about to kiss but a dog barking caught us off guard. Darn. "Uh, we should go" he said and I nodded. We walked to school.

10 minutes later
     We made it to school! Kids are surrounding Finn. I'm so happy for him. I'll go see Jordan. I went up to her and she ignored me. "You know ighnoring me is not going to help right!" I said to her and she looked at me "what else can I do Tate, I thought you were better than this!" She blurted out, "better than what jordan?" I said, "better than anyone! I thought you were different, but no your a boy obsessed slut like your sister!" She said and covered her mouth. I never talked about my sister. Only she knows about her. Her name was Kaitlyn. She was 15. My mom and dad were broke when they had her, she turned to horrible things to get money, horrible horrible things. She died. When I was 2 she was only 15! Only 15! Her life was taken away from her. I don't want to go into detail on how she died but it was in the hands of a terrible man. Everyone was staring. Finn started running to me. "Tate I'm so s-" I cut jordan off. "Don't you ever talk to me again!" I yelled and ran off. I don't know where I'm going but anything is better than that situation!" I can hear Finn and Jordan and other students yell my name trying to find me. I don't care about that! I want to be alone. I can't believe Jordan would ever say that! I found a good spot and sat down. I need to listen to some music to calm down. I played guilt trip from PUP. Yeah I know it's Finns song but it's also my favorite, I can relate to it. It sends good vibes down my spines. I played it really loud so I could not hear the "Tate! Tate where are you!" From anyone. I started singing along. I was singing and dancing pretending to play a guitar. It was great

I heard the music turn off. What? I turned around and saw no other but Finn. I blushed, he probably saw everything I looked like a complete idiot. "Tate your voice is amazing, and you dancing is A1" he said and we chuckled. I went and sat next to him. "Tate I'm really sorry about what jordan said." He said and I put my head on his lap. "It's okay." I said. I still can't believe she said that all because I skipped swim! "Can I ask you something?" He asked and I nodded. "I did not know you had a sister, why did you not tell me? And what happened to her?" He asked and I sat up and sighed. "You don't have to tell me" he said putting a fake smile of his face. "No, I want to" I said. I told him everything about kaitlyns short life. He had tears in his eyes. "Finn don't cry! It's okay, I'm okay." I said and he hugged me. "I'm so sorry Tate" he said. I smiled. "Lets head to school" I said and he nodded and I grabbed my phone and we left.
