22. Me Taken

- AMBER'S POV -

'Done!'

I squealed as Jungkook looked at me with an amused look.

'What? I finished four songs in three days!' I said. 

'I know, you're just cute,' Jungkook said shyly.

'Anyway, thanks for staying with me,' I said.

'That's okay, I couldn't let you stay alone.'

I smiled at him and started packing my bag. 

'Let's go,' I said as I took his hand. We walked out of the recording studio and into the lobby. A chill crept up my spine when it was pitch black.

Suddenly, we heard a noise coming from the hallway.

'What's that?'

'I don't know, it sounds like a person. Maybe someone's stuck,' Jungkook whispered.

'Amber, I'll go check it out. Just stay here till I come back, okay?'

'Okay,' I said as I slowly nodded.

As I waited alone, I gulped as I felt like I was being watched. My ears pricked when someone whispered my name. 

'Amber, Amber, Amber....Amber.'

I decided to follow the sound. I slowly walked into a different hallway as I heard the whispers getting louder.

I was close.

I slowly turned a corner but immediately froze.

'Hey, Dollface.'

Mingyu.....

'What are you doin-,'

I was cut from my words when I heard screaming. 

My heart dropped.

It was Jungkook.

Shit, he was in trouble.

I quickly turned to help Jungkook but was held back. Mingyu wrapped his arms around me as he restrained my movements.

'Leaving so soon?'

'Let go, Mingyu! What have you done to Jungkook? Let him go, you unappreciative son of a b...'

'Did I ever tell you how beautiful you are, Amber?' Mingyu whispered.

I paused as I stared at him.

Suddenly, a ringing noise emitted throughout the hallways.

'It's time, princess,' Mingyu said as he lifted me over his shoulder. I gasped and immediately tried to escape his clutches. 

I got carried until Mingyu walked outside to a black van. He gently laid me down and stood outside as he guarded the van.

I scrunched my nose when I smelt something foul. My heart dropped when I saw a dead body lying next to me. I screamed to the top of my lungs as tears brimmed in my eyes.

I was suddenly wrapped into Mingyu's warm arms.

'Sorry, you had to see that. Don't cry, it hurts me.'

My tears wouldn't stop flowing, I was scared.

Mingyu must have killed that person. What if I was next?

'I won't hurt you, Amber. I promise,' Mingyu whispered.

We stayed in each other's arms until he whispered, 'sorry I have to do this, Amber.'

Before I could reply, I winced when a needle was stabbed into my arm.

My eyes felt heavy and everything started moving slowly. What did he do to me?

Mingyu released his grip and closed the door.

I saw a blurry figure coming into the van. He turned with eyes that showed deep concern.

Row.

Before I blacked out, I remember saying to myself...

Row betrayed us all.
