"Bella, she is only a child. You honestly cannot be planning marriage for her already!" Rodolphus said to his wife in a shocked tone, "I mean, what is the rush?"

Bellatrix tossed her long draping robes over as she paced back and forth, "In my opinion, we have waited far too long to find a suitable suitor for her Rodolphus. She is nearly eight years old, we were betrothed long before then!"

Rodolphus cast a glance over to the door of the young Indigo's bedroom where she slept peacefully. "Just give it some time Bellatrix..."

"THERE IS NO TIME!" Bellatrix snarled, "In less than ten years that child will be a death eater and she will have duties to fulfill with or without a husband. She will produce a pureblood child who will be a member of the army once they are seventeen just as she was."

Rodolphus let out an angry huff, "You don't even see her as your daughter. All she is to you is a pawn, a place in the beloved Dark Lords heart." He said angrily, "She is mine, yours, our daughter. You need to realize that some things are  more important then blood purity and him!"

A wicked laugh escaped the lips of Bellatrix, "Nothing is more important."

The end of the summer couldn't come long enough. I had seen more burns and cuts then I had ever expected due to an overly rambunctious litter of baby dragons. Some part of me was disappointed each time a worker came in and it wasn't the annoying red head I had hoped for, but I found other ways to occupy myself in the evening such as reading and writing my cousin none stop.

On the last evening of August, I sat in my cottage alone, reading over some healing books and snacking away some cookies that I had made the day before when a knock sounded from my door. I tossed my book aside and rose from my comfy chair to answer the door.

I slowly opened it at first but pulled it open when I saw the red hair I had to admit I missed more than I had thought I would. I quickly jumped into his arms and let a smile spread across my face. Charlie let out a grunt as I hugged him.

"You know, I think you would give my mum's hugs a run for their money." He stated, and I couldn't help but giggle at the voice I had missed so much.

He seemed ever more freckled than he was before, so freckled that at first, I thought he had tanned. His blue eyes shone and twinkled in just the way I loved, and his muscular arms were wrapped tightly around me. I touched my forehead gently against his, realizing that in this moment more than ever that what was between Charlie was more than just a friendship. I was in love with him.

I let out a laugh, "You aren't allowed to leave me again." I told him, he let out the deep chuckle that sent shivers down my spine.

"Does that mean that you aren't leaving for Christmas?" He asked me, a smile spread across my face.

It meant that we never went anywhere without each other for quite some time. We just hadn't admitted our feelings for each other yet. Looking back I wish more than anything that we had, because it would have made us so much happier.
