Ross' POV

I didn't know what to do one minute I was walking down the street reminiscing my home town.  Then girls started noticing me.  On instinct I started running. Which was a bad choice.

It's like all of these girls run track.

I pick up my speed. Turning around. Almost lost them. But then I run into someone. Landing on the floor. The fan girls were getting closer. I just needed to apologize to this person then I can start running again.  It's a girl I can tell because her hair was covering her face.

She peers up. Those mahogany eyes, I'd know them any where.

The screams are getting closer. I didn't want to leave her. So I just grabbed her hand ignoring the shock that went through my arm and ran. She kept up, it was like a godsend or something cause I found an ally way to hide in. Grabbing her by her waist I pulled her into "the ally way".
All I could do was stare. She's so beautiful.  I realize none of us are speaking so I decide to break the ice."Umm, hi?"

Laura just started laughing.

What I just said hi!

" What's so funny?" She just stares at me and still laughing she says.

"Dude your like 28 years old and you still get chased by teenage girls?" She starts laughing again and I can't help myself but to start laughing too.

Our laughing fades and she looks at her phone a frown coming on her face. I didn't want her to go. We've barely said two phrases. "Do you have to be somewhere?" She just nods, the disappointment was evident in my features.

"Yeah but I could cancel." I was relived. Maybe she wants to spend time with me!

"Do you want to have coffee with me?" I expected her to laugh at my face but she surprised me by nodding quietly. I took her to a near by one I was heading to before I got chased.. I walked up and ordered me vanilla coffee with honey. Then out of habit I ordered for Laura a mocha frappe with 2 shots of caramel.

"You remembered?" she asked quietly. I just shrugged, is it bad that I remembered?

We sat at a table by a window she got on her phone and started texting. I was going to ask who. But it's none of my business. The awkwardness starts to creep in around us. She was just starring out the window.

So beautiful.

I started blushing cause of my thoughts. I started tapping on the table to avoid any questions on why I was blushing."So, how's it going?" I ask.

She laughs and just says she's doing fine. The waitress arrives with our drinks and cookies. I look at Laura and she has that worry line on her forehead, what is she contemplating so much?

I noticed the waitress was lingering around us. Apparently Laura did too, she was giving her a glare that I've never seen. Agitated she says "You can leave now." The girl walks away quickly not wanting to deal with the monster that is Laura. I raised my eyebrow and she just looks away.

I grab one of the cookies making sure there is no paper on it.
I know it weird but I've consumed 3 pieces of paper due to waitresses giving me their numbers. But seeing that there is none I take a bite. Laura smiled looking at my lips telling me to wipe them off. I stick my tongue out at her like we used to when we were teenagers and than lick my lips.
