Andy’s POV

For the past five years, I’ve had different girls in and out of my house and life. Different races, hair colors, eye colors, different everything.

But none of them compared to her; not even the one I was actually dating, Natalie. It wasn’t like I wanted to date her. It was that if I didn’t, I felt like I would have to explain myself to everybody and dating Natalie gave me an excuse not to.

For five years, I’ve worn a necklace with a promise ring, that matched one I’d given Rain, on it.

And for the past five years, I’ve attended every Death to You show in California. I’ve lurked in the back of the venues, hidden in shadows where she can’t see me. I’ve watched her go off the stage after every show and hug a little blonde boy, her son, who is always accompanied and watched by Dante Phoenix or Sammi Doll.

There are times when I feel like a stalker, or a creeper; but being around her, them, even from a distance, feels right.

According to online articles and everyone I hung around, the little boy’s name was Jepha Moore.

I’d never seen him up close, just in blurry online photos. I knew the guys and everyone else had great photos of him, but I’d never had the guts to ask to see a photo.

I shouldn’t have even cared as much as I did. The kid was not mine, and Rain and I were not together.

From what I’d read online and heard, the father of the child had still not been revealed, even though guesses were often made and my name came up quite often; Rain took Jeph on tour with her a lot; and Jeph did not attend any public or private school, but was in fact tutored at home.

Walking into my house, I kicked off my boots and sat down on my couch, closing my eyes.

It had been a long day.

But, of course, my phone vibrated almost as soon as I started to relax.

“Yes?” I asked, not bothering to sound even remotely happy.

“Hey, Andy, look, I know you aren’t really…close with Death to You anymore, the bad history and all, but Black Veil Brides has an offer to tour with them and Picture Me Broken again two weeks from now. I’m leaving it up to you if you want to-” My manager rushed the words.

“Yes.” I said before I could stop myself.

“Great! I’m glad you feel that way, because we were already agreed to go.” He said in a flat tone.

I bit back a rude response and hung up.

Looking at my phone, I saw Rain's name with a heart next to it in my contacts. I was definitely looking forward to this tour. And after five years of silence; I was determined to change that.
