She's the newest member of the university's cheer squad. She had quite the rough upbringing, dealing with excessive bullying and an emotionally abusive relationship before college. But her best friend Justin was there for her through it all. Ely was reluctant to join the cheer squad because of her difficult history with cheerleaders bullying her, but her love of dance and friend's on the squad make cheering worth it for her. Ely had only had one serious relationship before dating Justin, but that toxic relationship, along with tormenting from other students, took a toll on Ely's self esteem. She still struggles with this, but being with Justin definitely helps.
