46. Remarried
SHREYA LOOKED AROUND the hall searching for Aarav only to find him laughing and smiling with some girl. Jealousy over took her emotions as the girl hit him playfully at something Aarav said.
"Shreya go and change. You and Aarav are performing right?", Aanchal informed.
"Is it okay if we sing and dance?", Shreya asked.
"Uhh...sure", Aanchal said before leaving Shreya alone.
"Madhuban mein joh kanhaiya
Kisi gopi se mile"
Everyone's attention was turned to Shreya as she started singing. Aarav too looked at her surprised. This wasn't the song they were going to perform on then why was she singing this song?, Aarav thought.
"Kabhi muskaye, kabhi chhede
Kabhi baat kare
Radha kaise na jale
Aag tann mann mein lage
Radha kaise na jale"
Shreya danced as her eyes never left Aarav's eyes. The girl besides him wrapped her hand around his arm which just fuelled Shreya's jealousy.
The look on Shreya's face screamed jealousy and Aarav caught the hint as he swiftly pushed the girl's hand from his arm and sang the next part.
"Madhuban mein bhale kaanha
Kisi gopi se mile"
He playfully bumped into Shreya's shoulder and looking into her chocolate brown orbs he sang the next part.
"Mann mein toh Radha ke hi
Prem ke hai phool khile
Kis liye Radha jale

Aanchal passed Aarav and Shreya the dandiya sticks as they danced and sang to the song.
"Bina soche samjhe
Kis liye Radha jale
Kis liye Radha jale"
They kept the sticks aside and Shreya was about to leave when Aarav caught her wrist.
"O gopiyan taarein hai, chaand hai Radha
Phir kyun hai usko biswaas aadha

She turned around and glared at him singing the next part.
"Kaanhaji ka joh sada
Idhar udhar dhyaan rahe
Radha bechari ko phir
Apne pe kya maan rahe"
Aarav sang the rest part as they danced on the song.
"Gopiyan aani jaani hai
Radha toh mann ki rani hai
Saanjh sakhare, jamuna kinare
Radha radha hi kaanha pukare"
Picking up the dandiya sticks again they danced and sang further.
"Baahon ke haar joh daale
Koi kaanha ke gale
Radha kaise na jale
Radha kaise na jale
Aag tann mann mein lage
Radha kaise na jale
Radha kaise na jale"
Once their dance ended, everyone applauded for the couple.
"Do you think Shreya was jealous?", Akansha asked.
"Why would you ask something like that?", Rajeev asked.
"The answer to my question is not a question, Raj!", Akansha said rolling her eyes.
"Nah, I don't think she was jealous", Rajeev said.
"You men are stupid! It was clear as day that she was jealous!", Akansha said.
