Chapter 49

Zayn opens the front door of the apartment and we both walk inside with Scarlett in my arms sleeping. I walk into Scarlett's bedroom and lay her in her baby crib. I slowly tip toe out of the bedroom and into Zayn and I's bedroom. I grab the dress and hang it up ready for tomorrow. I grab my clutch and sit it in the drawer. I put away a few clothes I got and walk into the lounge room where Zayn was sitting on the couch with his phone. He see's me and puts his phone on the coffee table and I sit down beside him.

"So, have you thought about, you know.. um, moving?" He asks. I can see he is really nervous that I'll turn him down and wont go with him. I know how much he wants me to go with Scarlett.

"I don't know... Maybe." I say, I definitely want to go, but I'm also having doubts, I mean I'll miss Gracie and Mum. But I can't stay here forever. I would like to start fresh and forget my bad memories here. "Actually, I would love to go." I smile

"Really?" He asks

"Yep, But what about Gracie" I make a sad face

"Oh, I don't know, Harry got the job to. We applied together. I don't know if he has told her yet though" He says and I just nod

*Knock Knock*

Someone is at the door. I stand to my feet and walk towards the door. I open it to reveal Gracie, I say hello and let her in.

"So, whats up?" I say

"Oh, nothing" She says

I can help but ask. "Did Harry talk to you about anything?"

"Oh, yeah. Actually thats what I was coming to talk about. Are you going?" She asks

"Yeah, I mean. I'd love to start fresh and leave all the bad memories" I say

"Okay, I'll go to. I wasn't sure because I wouldn't wanna go if you didn't" She says

Harry walks through the door like its his own house suddenly.

"Harry! Its called knocking!" I joke

"Whatever" He says and rolls his eyes

"So... excited for the party?" I ask

"Yep" Gracie says

"I've already got a dress today" I say

"Ooo, show me" She says

"Okay, come" I say and stand up and walk into the bedroom with Gracie following behind me. I open the wardrobe cupboard and pull out the dress.

"Wow! That is be-au-ti-ful" She says "Its wonderful"

"I know, what are you wearing?" I ask

"Well, its red and I'll show you next time you come" She says

"Okay" I say

We both walk out of the room and into the lounge room where Zayn and Harry are talking.

"Wanna go out for dinner tonight?" Zayn asks me

"Sure" I say

"The four of us?" He asks

"Sure" I say

"Yeah okay" Gracie says and Harry smiles

We all sit down at the table of the fancy restaurant that Zayn and Harry are paying for. They wont tell us anything, not how much it costs or anything. They just said sit down and enjoy the food.

Mum and Richard are both minding Scarlett tonight. I also asked them if they could babysit tomorrow as well, I promised it'll be only for tomorrow and they just said they'd love to babysit any time.

The waiter gives all of us our menu's and I look through it. All the food on the menu look really expensive. Where on earth did they get this money.

We all order our food and get served a glass of wine before our meal. Soon the waiter returns with a bunch of meals for all of us.

We all eat our food without another word. I don't know why tho. I keep deciding to break the awkward silence but then I keep deciding against it.

...

Okay! I can't take it anymore, Everyone is so damn quiet. We've all almost finished our meals and haven't said anything.

"So, hows the baby?" I say

"Oh, Yeah, She or He is fine" Gracie says

"Vomiting a lot?" I ask

"Yep" She says

"Guys, we are eating" Zayn breaks in

"Sorry, It was just so quiet, that I didn't know what to say" I say

"Shh" He shushes me, I roll my eyes and stick my tongue at him when he isn't looking at me

"I saw that" He says

"What?" I ask completely clueless

"I ... Saw ... That" He repeats

"Saw what?" I ask

"Just, ugh! forget it" He says and I laugh. He laughs too and turns back to eating his food.
